Prenisolone is one of the main medications used to help control both crons and
colitis
but the small print that we do not read does say can cause diabetes.

Does my wife have sticky blood syndrome
When my wife was in her teens she had ulcerative
colitis
and had her large bowl removed and a bag, later she had the reversal to remove the bag, still has no large bowl but can go on the loo, she suffers chronic indigestion problems and has recently found out she has a hiatus hernia, on top of all this

feeling weak
Hello! I am presently taking 88mg of Levothyroid. I also take estrogen twice weakly. Does estrogen interfere with thyroid medication? Any one know.

KEFIR
The kefir certainly helps my
colitis
and hopefully is strengthening my bones. There have been some interesting features on Radio 4 recently about the benefits of other fermented food. By the way if anyone doesn't take dairy you can make kefir with coconut milk apparently. Ruth

Anti phospholipid syn
She was diagnosed with a very bad infection, c-diff
colitis
. Last night she felt very strange and her heart was racing. They immediately did vitals, an ekg, sent her for a test looking for blood clots after her d-dimer blood test came back very elevated. No blood clots were found.

Reading these posts are so helpful.
OK, I have two days to go before I go to see the docs about giving up smoking - again! This is so I can decide how I want to do this, ideally I want to try Varenicline (Chantix) but not sure if I can ask for that or just take what they suggest, but I will see. Whatever happens I am determined to quite

Young, scared, confused.
Hello, I am not sure if I have joined the correct forum and if anyone can offer me some comfort and reassurance. So I have a low reading of MCHC AND MCH from majority of my blood tests. Now I've had many blood tests in the pass and no doctor has ever bought this up before until just a few years ago

I want to use the ecig only as an aid and be completly nicotine free sooner than later. My biggest problem

Experiences with bone pain
It flared his
colitis
and gave him a painful burning sensation when he urjnates. They'd only radiated the sacrum area because that's where most of the pain was. Since then (2 weeks), he's complaining of pain again. Not what it was at it's peak but in various areas. What has your experience been?
