Hello! I am presently taking 88mg of Levothyroid. I also take estrogen twice weakly. Does estrogen interfere with thyroid medication? Any one know.

feeling weak
Estrogen needs to be taken four hours away from thyroid hormone.
Is that the same rule for estrogen patches 😱I've been putting mine on in the morning after my shower .
I found neither NDT or HRT worked well when taken close together. I take TH's first thing, D3 at lunchtime, & HRT in the evening, so as not to clash.
Estrogen is antagonistic to thyroid meds . It's advisable as greygoose says at least four hours apart .
Basically yes. Both medications compete for Thyroid Binding Globulin (TBGs) - the transport mechanism that gets the hormones from your blood to your cells. Many other medications interact likewise esp. statins , steroids and estrogen.
A very recent paper:
Moreover, many drugs alter thyroxine and triiodothyronine transport in serum such as estrogens, tamoxifen, heroin, methadone, mitotane, androgens, anabolic steroids, furosemide, NSAIDs, and salicylates by either increasing or decreasing TBG concentration or displacing them from protein-binding sites (363, 373).
