Will I ever be able to go out without thinking I’m going to s**t myself!
I was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
in December. I’d had symptoms since March 2018 and took this long to be diagnosed. Anyways I’ve had two lots of a 6 week steroid course and I’m on pentasa. Everytime I take the steroids it improves.

Watery bathroom trips
Hi all x I have IBS-D which I manage through a gluten free diet and try to avoid certain fodmaps - this has got rid of the cramping etc. However if I don’t take an Imodium weekly, I’ll have watery frequent bowel movements - Even after taking my Imodium I am still able to have a BM each day so that’s

Newly diagnosed as B12 deficient after suffering symptoms for at least 30+ years & possibly since childhood!
Not convinced it is IBS... my daughter has just been told she has Crohn’s or
colitis
& is currently waiting on further hospital tests to confirm which one it is. Her GP asked about family history as it tends to run in families & suggested I should go back & ask to be re-investigated.

Alendronic Acid
I already suffer from Ulcerative
Colitis
and I think Alendronic acid would certainly not help that! I have a friend who couldnt take Alendronic Acid but was then prescribed Zoledronate which was fine for her. I am taking 1000mg Calcium Citrate daily and 1000ug Vitamin D3 along with Vitamin K2.

Over the counter pain relief
I am in the process of getting diagnosed with either IBS or
colitis
. I had diarrhea and pain for around a month and ended up so dehydrated that I was admitted to hospital for a week, colonoscopy and CT scan showed some inflammation but not a lot, so they need me to come back for more tests.

No Ranitidine, no alternatives available, chest pain, indigestion, impact on ulcerative colitis.
I’m concerned also that it might be impacting on otherwise well-controlled ulcerative
colitis
. Anyone else having problems? I don’t know whether there is a limit to how often I can up the Esomeprazole, and whether there are downsides to that.

Hi All, I do not have a diagnosis yet due to Covid I've been forced to video appointments with my GI. I'm having a colonoscopy and endoscopy end of July for my symptoms. My symptoms have been on going for about 9 months now. It first started with extreme burning in my stomach, lots of diarrhea, pain

I hate having retrograde ejaculation!
I had my colon and rectum removed because of Ulcerative
Colitis
. This was 3 years ago. Ever since my surgery, I cannot ejaculate. I do feel the pleasure of a normal orgasm. All the urologists tell me there may be nerve damage and it takes a long time for nerves to heal. Wait. Wait. Wait.

Crohns treatment
Hi, I’m new to this site and was diagnosed last summer with Crohns. I was started on Pentasa, which unfortunately did not keep the disease at bay and I suffered a severe flare and have been on steroids off and on since December. I have since been on Adalimumab for 12 weeks and have been off the steroids

Does this sounds like IBS or IBD?
The doctor even questioned if it was
colitis
? I'm really confused now and don't know what I should be thinking. I also regularly have mucus when I'm constipated. I take movicol, mebeverine, lactulose, buscopan and anti-sickness meds, although they don't always work. Does anyone have any idea?

ANYONE???
anyone here diagnosed with Chrons,
Colitis
or IBD but never had pain??? my mom is having the symptoms but not really in pain, she has intermittent pain in her lower left abdomen for years but it could be maybe because of her cysts in her ovaries ( and it's very seldom to happen )

So, I'm not producing semen at all?
After surgery for Crohn's
Colitis
and I had my colon and rectum removed, I was not able to ejaculate anymore. I have orgasm and it feels normal with no pain.
