I hate having retrograde ejaculation!

I had my colon and rectum removed because of Ulcerative Colitis. This was 3 years ago. Ever since my surgery, I cannot ejaculate. I do feel the pleasure of a normal orgasm.

All the urologists tell me there may be nerve damage and it takes a long time for nerves to heal. Wait. Wait. Wait.

The surgeon told me everything went fine. My prostrate wasn't damage and they did not warn me before surgery that I may not be able to ejaculate anymore.

So, they make it seem the only way to get my wife pregnant is taking sperm from my testes and implanting into her which is several thousand dollars.

Right now, I just started taking Sudafed. My research said it may help the bladder muscle to tighten during orgasm so my ejaculate will come out instead of into my bladder.

Anybody else have retrograde ejaculation? Anybody else have any type of nerve damage and now long did it take for it be normal or almost normal again?

Sorry to hear your problems. I have retrograde ejaculations secondary to the medication I am taking (tamsulosin). It is indeed a strange experience. Especially if you were not warned about it.

If you were not warned of the possibility of nerve damage or the ejaculation issue when you consented to surgery you might want to consider taking advice about that.
