Diverticula disease
Does anyone on here suffer with diverticula disease and ulcerative
colitis
. Pretty sure the uc is under control with pentasa granules but the last couple of days I’ve woken up with bloody type mucus. I’m not flaring but because this is a symptom of both diseases how can you define which one. Lynda

Looking for foods that help heal microscopic colitis
Are the diets for microscopic
colitis
and ulcerative
colitis
the same? They are both IBDs. I am looking for which foods I can eat for microscopic
colitis
. There is much more info on ulcerative
colitis
since MC has only just been recognized in the last few years. Thanks

Cll and Ulcer Colitis
I also have ulcer
colitis
. Has anyone else had the same situation? Be good to hear feedback on any complications with having ulcer
colitis
and getting venetoclax medication. My doctor did say that one patient of hers had FCR treatment and it got rid of the cll and ulcer
colitis
at the same time.

Salofalk granules
Hello, I’m recently diagnosed with Ulcerative
colitis
and started taking 3mg of salofalk daily. I’m on day three and I’m literally stuck on the loo with awful diarrhoea & tummy cramps. Is this common when starting this medication. I feel worse now than before I started them! Thank you

Gemzar/Carbo Failure
Had debulking, carbo/taxol for 6 months and rubraca for 10 months until I got severe
colitis
and was taken off the PARP. CA-125 started rising and CT/PET in June 2021 confirmed recurrence. Another surgery and Gemzar/Carbo after that. Any hope for a new successful treatment at this time?

Free For All on Friday
After a long spell with ulcerative
colitis
, she was faced with surgery and the life-changing operation which gave her a colostomy to get used to. Then when we spoke on the phone during the week, she told me she was also undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Immunocompromised and Active Virus Vaccine
I’m currently on 6.5mg/day prednisolone for PMR. My 6 week old granddaughter has just received her first Rotavirus live vaccine. Is there any risk for me being around her and if so, how, long should I should I keep my distance?

IBD tracker app recommendations
Hello all I have recently been diagnosed with
colitis
. I would like to track my meds, symptoms, food etc. An app would be good rather than paper. I can see a few on the App Store but they don’t have a lot of reviews. Downloaded a couple but don’t seem that good. Any recommendations?? Thanks

What now???
Meanwhile I had a face to face appointment with my gastro consultant ( I have ulcerative
colitis
. , which has been very quiet for a long time), all my visits are in one hospital so access to all my records. She looked at the results of my CT scan and has suggested an MRCP , just to make sure.

Pain control and depression
I have also just been diagnosed with
colitis
- with no treatment as of yet. Will see gastro this week. What works to keep you moving and keep your spirits up? I am a doer -not a sitter - and so I probably over do things and make the soreness worse. Is anyone on anything other than steroids?

Have I over medicated T3? What is the ideal level?
Then I have suddenly had a reoccurrence of my ulcerative
colitis
and can't seem to digest anything! My gut is a total mess and my heart beats heavily. Have I over medicated on the T3? Here are my levels over the last year from when things went wrong...
