Did you watch the latest zoom with the head of Octave very helpful and Octave results coming soon I didn't manage to watch live to give a question does anyone else have two Autoimmune deseases I have Ra and Colagenous Colitis so am I more at risk or is it the meds that out us at risk ?

It was an excellent session by Iain McInnes from Glasgow.Rituximab and prednisone seem to be the 2 meds putting us most at risk.

The results from the OCTAVE study are due in a few weeks time and should shed more light on the possible issues.

Yes it was very informative and the results of the study will be interesting. Sounds as if antibody response to the vaccine varies according to which treatment you are on and some if not all of us will need a booster.

Yes it confirms what and a lot of us had already figured out re our own meds. Not the best news for some, but at least those who weren’t aware before are now. Great that NRAS once again gives us access to this information. So much mis-information around as Claire said. Thank you. 🙏🏻
