Colonscopy

I had my colonoscopy today I’ve been diagnosed with unspecified irratable bowl disease they couldn’t decide if it is colitis or chrons but looking more like chrons maybe they have now ordered a mri of the small bowl to determined if it’s chrons I also had removed some polyps some are classed are pre cancerous straight away from the type so I am worried a lot I’m total 13 biopsy was taken

Hi Ezz please don't worry there are lots of positives here. Firstly the removal of non cancerous cysts .... great they've gone. And you are very close to getting a confirmed diagnosis. You can continue to live a normal life with Crohns as you will have medication to keep the symptoms under control. All of which will be explained to you fully when a definate diagnosis is made. So chin up lovely. You will be well treated and your mind put at ease.

Aww Laura thank you how are you ? I’m just relaxing now it was ok the colonoscopy I only had gas and air afterwards when it wore of the pain started xx

Its good to know you are relaxing now. I'm fine thanks Ezz we have been relaxing too, at the coast in our caravan since Saturday evening. Weather has been lovely. Did our usual walks along the cliff edge with our dog then soaked up the sun on our veranda/decking/balcony ..... never know what to call it really but it's our weekend retreat and we love it there 😎 🌞xx

Ah I also went to the sea side for a week was apart from the noise above apartment we went to Bridlington! Laura I forgot to mention I have also a metal endoclip due to bleeding from polyps removed I’m worried about that to it says it will come out in one to three weeeks I’ve not read much but I hope there are no side effects from having one xx

Super ! I have no experience of endoclips. Maybe give your doc a call for reassurance.
