Anxiety, Hot Flashes, Palpitations. Advice needed
Ok, it's now been 29 days since my thyroid lobectomy and I am experiencing some horrible symptoms now. Anxiety/shaky throughout the day/night, getting very little sleep. I am starting to sweat and get hot flashes as well. Heart palpitations occur some during the day, but a lot while I sleep. What's

Hi I am fairly new to this group but have years of endo experience!!!
I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis in 2014 following years of horric pain and bleeding. I have undergone hormone treatment, uterine ablation and am now on the emergency list for FAH and colostomy due to the undiagnosed lesions that have damaged my bowel.

Big Decision
Just had the results of an MRI and discovered I have the most extreme form of Endometriosis. It's everywhere, I have been asked to make a decision about having surgery which may involve removing the ovaries and possibly part of my bladder. This would mean I have a colostomy bag. As a newly single person

Colon endo
I had a colonoscopy today which showed polyps on colon, diverticular and twisted bowel. I am absolutely terrified I will end up with colostomy bag. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Day 6 post thyroid lobectomy
Hello again, Well it has been 6 days since my thyroid surgery and I am having mixed feelings/symptoms. The majority of hyper symptoms have gone, but now I am dealing with major ringing in the ears, brain fog, cold feet, and my body gets really warm. My a/c is on low and I am still hot. The internal

Temporary colostomy bag - how long?
Hi everyone. I am having surgery in October to remove endo from cervix, ovaries, bladder, bowel and rectum. I have been advised I am going to need a temporary colostomy bag, I am wondering if anyone has had a similar procedure and how long is "temporary"? I was maybe thinking a couple of weeks but upon

Recovery from thyroid surgery.
Hello my friends, I recently had a thyroid lobectomy, right lobe, and am on day 4 post op. I am doing ok, but have numbness in my face, hands, feet. I went into the hospital and had my calcium levels checked on day 2 post op, and they were fine. Is this a normal feeling to have after thyroid surgery?

Hello, I have NSCLC Adenocarcinoma of the right lower lobe. Lobectomy was July 12, 2016. Was wondering why do I still have numbing burning pain? I can barely touch my right breast, the pain continues to the middle of my back. Is the normal? If so how long before this feeling is gone? Also if i talk

Neuroendocrine
My husband was diagnosed with rectal neuroendocrine cancer two years ago. He had a colostomy, then chemo which didn't work, then radiotherapy that shrank it enough for them to operate. Endo with the bowel
Hi guys, newbie here. I had my first endo specialist appointment last week after having a diagnostic laparoscopy in April. Essentially I was told that it was worse than I had been told originally and that it may have spread to my bowel. My gynae told me that may have to have a part of my bowel removed

Thyroid Lobectomy anyone????
Hello my friends, Today I had my thyroid uptake scan review with a ENT surgeon. He preformed an high sensitivity ultra sound and determined that my hyper-functioning nodule and cold nodule need to be removed. Both are on the right lobe, so he stated that he can leave 60% of the thyroid intact, which

Lobectomy
Going in for surgery Friday for lobectomy on right lung. Diagnosed with mass on right lung in addition to another primary cancer in my left lung (which will be dealt with after my surgery on the right) Stressed out and scared. Was told this is adino (sp?) type of cancer and is NOT caused by smoking
