Possible return of endometriosis
My medical history is complicated by a total
colectomy
2 years ago but not for endometriosis so I can't believe this is happening. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I had forgotten what this condition was like until now.

Lump on chest wall 3 months after surgery!!
I had a lobectomy at the end of February as I had a 5.5cm mass in my middle lobe. After being told by the consultant and surgeon that it was unlikely to be cancer, the results came through as stage 2A mucinous adenacarcinoma. I have recovered well, have some nerve pain but nothing too severe. 3 months

Lymph node activity found during lobectomy
Hi all I gave a question that hopefully someone will be able to help with! My mum was told last week that during her right lower lobectomy the surgeon completed a "frozen section" which showed "activity" in the lymph nodes on her right side. I believe he did 3 samples. I know this means cancer in the

Understanding tests !
I have recently posted about not feeling good four weeks after my thyroid lobectomy and will see the specialist on the 23rd May for the pathology results. I have had bloods taken by my GP which have shown my TSH has risen from 0.72 prior to surgery to 3.55 (range 0.3-4.5) which I know could be indicative

Update after mums surgery
So my mum underwent a lobectomy and wedge resection 2 weeks ago. She has since suffered a pneumothorax on the right side due to a chest drain not functioning properly and also has an infection but is recovering. She spoke to her surgeon today and was told that the lymph nodes on her right side were showing

The life after chemo isn't what I thought it would be.
Hello everyone. Finished chemo on February 15th this year... I had hoped of old me just bouncing back. But I don't believe the ol me is left in me anymore. Got upcoming surgery in ten days to remove my colostomy bag. Very scared about it too. But this state of depression is not what I was expecting.Everone

I'm Back
Hi fellow fighters, I plugged in about a month ago with my story. I'm not sure where I left off, but a lot has transpired since then. I reported that I thought I had a rotator cuff injury that I inquired about in November. Fast forward after an MRI, in January revealed that a tumor was in the humerus

Gabapentin
Just wondered if everyone after a lobectomy takes gabapentin and how long they have stayed on them for. Was reading something that made it sound like you could be left with permanent nerve dam age and would need to just stay on them!

Bowel Endo Surgery - anyone? Xx
Hi everyone. I've had stage 4 endo for many many years (I'm 30 now). Had one lap 5 years ago when I had a 8cm chocolate cyst removed from right ovary but he wouldn't touch the left side as it was such a mess - ovary attached to my bowel etc - and didn't want to do it without the bowel expert there.
