Endo with the bowel
Hi guys, newbie here. I had my first endo specialist appointment last week after having a diagnostic laparoscopy in April. Essentially I was told that it was worse than I had been told originally and that it may have spread to my bowel. My gynae told me that may have to have a part of my bowel removed

Thyroid Lobectomy anyone????
Hello my friends, Today I had my thyroid uptake scan review with a ENT surgeon. He preformed an high sensitivity ultra sound and determined that my hyper-functioning nodule and cold nodule need to be removed. Both are on the right lobe, so he stated that he can leave 60% of the thyroid intact, which

Lobectomy
Going in for surgery Friday for lobectomy on right lung. Diagnosed with mass on right lung in addition to another primary cancer in my left lung (which will be dealt with after my surgery on the right) Stressed out and scared. Was told this is adino (sp?) type of cancer and is NOT caused by smoking

HAS ANYONE HAD SUCCESSFUL IVF WITH HYDROSALPHINX?
Hi Ladies, im so curious to hear if anyone has had successful IVF with hydrosalphinx present? my tubes are both blocked with this and because ive got a massive past history of surgeries so they want to proceed straight to IVF as i could end up with a colostomy if they operate. I have read so much online

Scleroderma and colostomy
I have had problems with my bowels for 10 years now and my consultant and GP both suggest I consider a colostomy, which they say transforms the lives of their scleroderma patients. Has anyone experience, (bad or good) they are willing to share about living with scleroderma, Raynauds and a colostomy.

Surgery in 1 week and Im petrified!!!
Well in 1 week I will be going in for surgery. If they dont find it in my lymph nodes then the doc can proceed with the either wedge, segment or lobectomy. He said he prefers open thoracotomy. Any suggestions on what is best to do to keep pain at a minimum and also to keep the cancer away from coming

Nearly 2 years
I had debulking surgery and a colostomy in July 2014 and chemo until Jan 2015. Have been all clear since then and getting on with living life to the full. Some days I wake up and every part of me aches and I can hardly walk. Other days I leap out of bed full of the joys of summer. It's been 2 years and
