Weeks in pain and return of lack of Spoons
For weeks now, with all the jiggery pokery with my Pred and Hydrocortisone , I've been in constant pain unless I take the French equivalent of Co-Codamol x 3 per day. I have finally kicked the Hydro, after the last week on alternating days and I think now 2 days free. Pred is at 8mg which is where it

Co-codamol and RLS
Evening everyone I’ve just been diagnosed with diverticulitis so now have a course of antibiotics to deal with it. I’ve also been prescribed with co-codamol for the pain. I don’t want to risk having what Tramadol has done to my RLS so was wondering if there are any known issues for people with RLS

Shingles and GCA
Hi good people I’m curious to know if anybody here has after being diagnosed with GCA which I’m on 40mg pred, then after a few months ends up with shingles in my head, left side of face, I’ve now had shingles for a 4th week and really struggling with the pain. It’s so difficult to distinguish between

Pain meds after surgery and thyroid meds
Hi I'm just this evening back from bilateral hernia surgery. They've given me a bunch of pain meds and I'm wondering if I should try (pain willing) and avoid them as best I can as I think I might have read somewhere here how they can affect thyroid or other blood markers? I've been given co codamol

please help. Desperate.
Before I start, this is definitely going to be a long winded one but stay with me here if you can 😂 I’m absolutely desperate for some kind of answers, advice, similar experiences - literally anything to make me feel like I’m not going completely insane. I’ve just turned 27 last month, I have 4 children

TIGHT NECK MUSCLES AND DIZZINESS
Hi, I have fibromyalgia and have recently developed tight neck muscles. I also suffer from spondylitis and arthritis. I visit an osteopath weekly and ho does dry needling and massage which does help. When the neck muscles are very tight I also seem to get IBS, Gerd, sinus problems and a zonked out

Tips for living with endo & fibromyalgia?
Wondering if anyone has any tips on how to live with both! I’m going through the process of getting diagnosed with fibro (although it is very likely as it runs in my family) and I am looking for some advise on how to manage the pain. Seems like my endo pain is setting off fibro flares too 🙃 I am in

Is it RA?
Hi everyone, just looking some advice. Over the past two year I have been having recurrent sore throats, seem to be nearly every other week but haven't needed medication treatment. Since having my two children I have always had 'stiff hips' and any time I took up running had to stop after a few runs

Leg pain and Taxol
I'm on 3 weekly taxol with 1 week off and this is my week off and I'm still feeling absolutely awful. Not helped by the fact I've got really bad catarrah and a cough. Last night i woke up with horrible nerve pains in my legs. The pain was awful to the point I didnt know what to do with myself. Co-codamol

SEVERE LOWER BACK PAIN
SEVERE BACK PAIN I am 83 and have been suffering from GCA/PMR for about 6 years. I am on 7mgms prednisolone. Co codamol helps pain a bit but obviously cant take too many. I was advised to try physiotherapy, They gave me some exercises to do and go back in three weeks but they have not helped and

Relief
I adked my GP if I could go on dehydracodeine instead of co codamol. Ive been on co codamol 30//00 for years for chronic pain, with no constipation at all, but since starting the dehydracodeine ive been really constipated. I spoke to my GP and was told that it was because it was a mote concentrated

Been slow tapering for a long time and down to 7 going down to 6.5 mg. Took my 7 two days ago so had two days of 6.5. This morning work up with stiff right neck. Became this afternoon a painful right neck. Have taken Co Codamol, as that is what I am on for painful knee. Have put heated pad on

Migraines after ablation
Had my 2nd ablation last week and since immediately afterwards have been plagued with migraines almost every day. So much so have to lie down every day to sleep. Been taking co-codamol but they not helping. Went to see someone but because of my cardiac issues can only take the co-codamol. Was just wondering
