Severe endometriosis with nodules on bladder and ivf
Hi ladies, I’m doing ivf and I’ve been told by my fertility doctor not to take NSAID when taking my stimulation hormone injection. She told me I can take co-codamol or paracetamol. I’ve been taking co-codamol which is not helping at all. My bladder is hurting like hell. Any advice what else I can used

Everything hurts - almost.
This is my first time posting here. I have posted on the PMR board which was very helpful. I have been convinced I have it in addition to RA because of chronic shoulder pain, particularly the right one. Up until 2 years ago I had been pain free on Enbrel followed by Remicade and then it all went pear-shaped

Experience of S. Maltophilia
Hi all, As per the title, just wondering if anyone here has cultured this particular mouthful. Littleun took one look at the full name and promptly renamed it malteasers for ease 😁 In light of the ongoing uncertainty about S. Maltophilia being causative or correlative, I’m particularly interested in

Mebeverine
Hi I've been prescribed Mebeverine and told to only take when I have IBS? Pain, with paracetamol. I think it does help but sometimes when pain is really bad, paracetamol is not really strong enough. I have been advised I can take co-dydramol but haven't tried this yet. Can anyone advise on how often

Newly diagnosed
Hi, I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of days ago. I'm a night time care assistant and am worried about if I can continue to do my job as my legs really hurt. I'm on gabpentin and taking co-codamol but still in pain. I'm working tomorrow night, any help would be gratefully received. Thanks

How to ease the pain
Has anyone managed to find a way to help with the pain? Doctors have put me on a few different painkillers over the last 2 year's, from Co-dydramol, naproxen, codine combined with paracetamol. Now I'm on Mefamics and I just can't fight through this pain anymore. ☹ was woundering if anyone had found

Buccastem & Apixaban (my 2nd post this morning)
Apparently Migralieve Pink tablets for Migtaine (the ones with the anti-emetic) are currently unavailable at pharmacies due to supply problems. I asked the pharmacist for alternatives & she suggested Buccastem then Co-codamol once the nausea has passed. Trouble is I’m on Apixaban & would need a prescription

Possible Urinary Endometriosis
Hi all, Long and complicated story about diagnosis and an operation but basically I don’t think it helped. I have cerebral palsy and have had since birth but what I didn’t see coming was when I started off with heavy periods from the age of 13 and my GP started me on Mefanamic Acid which didn’t help

Constant pain
I'm new to this. I've had general osteoarthritis since my 30s - I'm now 71. It started in my knees but for many years I've had it in my spine, hips and hands as well. I've also had sciatica since I was 19 and was originally prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs but this was changed to co-codamol when I

Any advice please
Dear fellow inhabitants of planet PMR. There is a wealth of personal experience on this forum and I would appreciate any advice for my current situation. After 6 + years travelling down the PMR road I, like many others it seems, find themselves on a 6mg dose of Pred and unbeing able to reduce further

Pericarditis - well I'd not heard of this 3 weeks ago ...
Hi guys, my first post to this site. I guess I'm looking for advice/reassurance really as I don't know anyone with this condition. I was diagnosed with acute pericarditis 3 weeks ago, after 5 GP visits, 2 A&E visits with one hospital admission. Currently taking Colchicine, Ibuprofen and Co-Codamol
