Do positive effects of LDN wear off?
My husband suffers from
chronic
migraine
. He started on LDN at the end of last year and it seemed that it was being very effective, just the odd off day. Fantastic. Then, a couple of months ago, the regular migraines, followed by a 'hangover period' of up to a week have come back.

Update: Myofascial Pain Syndrome
I had posted (I believe to PMRPro) a few days ago about my symptoms with regard to trigger points or fascia issues in my back. My daughter went over my back gently yesterday. There is a muscle just below the ribs on the right side which is so spasmed it can be seen as swollen above my spine (I have pics

Is MBL the same as CLL stage 0?
hi. I recently got diagnosed with MBL and I’m reading a lot about CLL stage zero on this board. I’m a little confused with the terminology. I’m trying to understand if it is the same thing or not can anyone help?

Still having migraines after ablation
My ablation was 4/20. Migraines everyday (with aura) for about 20 days following surgery then every other day. Now, getting aura's and some numbness off and on during the day. Stopped steroids but taking Nurtec as needed. Some days, significant headache after the migraines goes away. Hoping this

waiting for the result of a 24 urine test as possible hypercalcaemia
I am waiting for the result of a 24 hour urine test. I have previously had above the normal range calcium tests. This has been going on for about a year. I’m guessing that the culprit is lithium but I’m wondering whether steroids can cause this ?

Mild aortic stenosis...is this normal?
A heart mumur was picked up when I was at the a&e back in June. Had an echocardiogram done September. Finally after trying to chase the a&e cardiologist who checked the echocardiogram he said my results were all normal. So I requested my results to check for myself as I feel rotten daily and it's says

Opioids can cause adrenal insufficiency
Hi everyone, It appears that opioids can cause adrenal insufficiency. This is something I have not seen mentioned here. Does anyone know about this? Here are a few articles. I think this has relevance to anyone trying to taper through the lower doses of pred if they are taking opioids for pain or any

Questions
The time has come when I need to make a decision about whether to go with hemo or peritoneal dialysis. That brings up many questions. If on peritoneal dialysis do you ever get a decent nights sleep or are you constantly awakened with alarms pain etc. Is the machine very loud - I have a hard time

Piracetam
I’m currently away from the U.K. and unfortunately had two seizures in 5 days - I’ve never had this happen before - my normal interval is over a year. I spent 4 days in hospital, all in all a fairly awful week. The neurologist here has added Piracetam to my meds (lamotragine and keppra). I’m a little

What does bone pain feel like?
My bf keeps having this recurrent pain in his elbow. I know CLL can cause bone pain but how would he know if that’s what he’s experiencing?

Little Laughter 😂
Looking like a beautiful day ahead warmer weather and sunshine ☀️. Go in this morning for botox injections for migraines 🤞🏼. Hopefully some results next week from MRI’s 🙏. The botox does help take the edge off along with migraine meds 🤞🏼. Waiting to see if they approve preventative daily pills 💊

Anyone got endolymphatic hydrops but not Ménière’s?
I’ve been diagnosed with
chronic
vestibular
migraine
but consultant now thinking it could be EH due to my symptoms- persistent vertigo/dizziness, constant T but fluctuating in pitch, pressure feeling in head, fullness, popping and what I call sudden vertigo zaps when the T goes up really loud.

so tired…
Good morning. I was diagnosed in December 2022 with mild CLL. My problem is that I am so tired all the time I just don’t feel myself. But the doctors tell me that I’m fine and that it’s not from the CLL. I looked on the Internet and I saw that fatigue is common in all stages of CLL. Not sure if there

Relative risk for secondary bone marrow cancer within 5 years after initial CLL chemoimmunotherapy treatment (typically BR or FCR)
In countries where targeted therapies ('brutinibs, venetoclax, obinutuzumab/rituximab) are now available, the remaining reason that FCR (Fludarabine+Cyclophosphamide+Rituximab) is still sometimes recommended for the treatment of CLL is that it can be curative* about 55% of the time - but [u]

VYEPTI
Has anyone in United Kingdom tried Vyepti infusion for
chronic
daily
migraine
and did it help ease migraine pain. I am in Ireland and we were told Vyepti would be available from 1st January, but so far nothing . Everything that I have tried has had no benefit.

Dietary Interventions and CLL - a case report
For those of you who are interested in dietary changes and CLL, I found an interesting clinical case report called "Stable improvement in classical B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia with dietary interventions: A personal experience" by Dr. Pooij and his treating hematologist Dr. Raemaekers. The case
