Very sick after booster/flu jabs together
I had my booster and flu jab at same time a week ago. Booster was Pfizer and original 2 Covid jabs were astra zeneca. I had asked gp to have flu and Covid booster separately. I went to surgery 2 weeks ago for a booked flu jab and blood test that was 6 months overdue. On arrival I was told flu jab had

Pfizer booster, flu and PD
Has anyone had problems with the Pfizer booster and the flu vaccine? I had both given, one in each arm, 10 days ago and since then I have felt tired, weak and shaky. Has anyone else had a similar reaction? I had been doing so well, my current state is hugely disappointing!

Why have a Flu jab?
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2003 and have neither had nor needed treatment so far. However I have had 3 Pfeizer jabs and still have no antibodies. I am now being told I must have a Flu jab. What's the point? I clearly don't produce antibodies.

Cold and asthma
After the second cold in as many weeks my asthma has been trigger again. With the first cold after 3 days I ended up taking a 5 day course of my rescue steroids. My peak flow had drop and I started to experience a tight chest. I used ventolin every 4 hours too Now I find myself in the same position

Is an opiate the way to go?
I currently take 100mg Pregabalin and use 2mg Neupro patch (Rotigotine) and these are to control my RLS. However I have been on them for several years and they seem to be becoming much less effective starting about 4 months ago, I think I am getting into augmentation, particularly with the Neupro .

How I've Been Handling PV
I highly respect this forum and the sharing of experiences. I would like to share my experiences. I have had Polycythemia Vera for over 15 years. I am 79 years old. I have taken HU a few times when my platelets rose to 1,500,000.I am a firm believer that food is medicine and do not take medication unless

Nearly didn't go, so glad I did...
This morning the gremlins almost won. It's foggy! It's cold! Your shoulder is hurting and you slept badly! I summoned up my inner warrior and shook the last one off. So glad I did, yes it was cold and foggy, but the sun breaking through was an ample reward. Isn't autumn running glorious! Have a

Hi everyone, A team of researchers at University of Nottingham are investigating the barriers and facilitators for vaccination in people with inflammatory conditions treated with immunosuppressive medications. They would like to invite you to take part in a research interview to explore your understanding

Symptoms of asthma or something else?
At the moment I seem to be intermittently purring like a cat and then coughing up stuff (clear, white or nothing). It’s like some of the larger airways are getting blocked up. I don’t think it’s an asthma thing. The purring sound is like a wheeze but it stops when I cough and is a completely different

Anyone on upadacitinib?
Being put on this due to being in hospital for so long with a flare up and pneumonia, was originally on leflunomide but things went slightly wrong even though it worked fine. If anyone's on upadacitinib I'd love to know your views and if any side effects have occurred for you, thank you. ❤️

Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Antibody Study results
Hi Awhile back, some helpful poster here (everyone is so helpful!) posted news about this Johns Hopkins research project and included a link where one could apply. They are looking into vaccine response in the immune compromised and immune suppressed. Those of us on immune suppressing meds like MTX (

Thank you
Thanks so much to all who replied to my plea for advice /opinions on whether to have flu and covid booster jabs at the same time. I am on my way to have the booster jab only and my flu jab will wait a while longer, I'm much less anxious now and no flare-up of afib. Thank you all! Tom
