Have had to give myself a break from the programme, two and a half weeks, after a nasty bout of flu and bronchitis. I have been champing at the bit somewhat whilst convalescing. I'm more or less back to full fitness (unfitness?) now but still a bit chesty and mild cough. This morning I decided I am not

If I go jogging...
If I go jogging with a partner who has the flu does that mean they have got the co-runner virus?

Does hypothyroidism affect urinary tract and bladder?
I have noticed a significantly slower flow and less need to pee. Also my tummy is pretty distended. NHS say that I am Hashi but not hypothyroidal. Both my ths and T4 tests are in the bottom 25-30% of the range and have been for many years. I had post partum overactive in 1999. I have TPO antibodies in

Is a universal flu vaccine on the horizon?
Every fall, millions of people roll up their sleeves for a flu vaccine, hoping to give their immune system a leg up on influenza. But the flu virus has thousands of strains that mutate and evolve across seasons, and the vaccine can’t guard against all of them. Now, two groups of researchers have independently

Gutted again
I caught a stinker of a cold 4 weeks ago and at the same time I'd done something to my knee, I tried a run on it but it wasn't going to happen and the cold was horrendous, never produced so much gunk so fast, so I was forced to stop. any way on a different note I'd visited the GP and asked about if cold

Bad mistake
I upped my anxiety medication and then I cold turkey it after taking it everyday twice a day since September, I recently got it from 5mg twice a day to 10mg twice a day and then stopped taking it completely abt 3 days ago, I’m having horrible withdrawal symptoms. Drastic confusion, and what not. I know

I've developed a cold - my op is in 5 days
Hi all. My operation is next Thursday, so 5 days away. I developed a cold a couple of days ago. I don't feel too bad, just a bit of a blocked nose, slight cough - no temperature or anything though. I feel like it's disappearing anyway and I've been pounding the cold and flu tablets. I desperately need
