Smear test after lap...
Hi ladies I had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago and have (unexpectedly) been diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I have now been invited for smear test. How long should I wait after laparoscopy to have this done? Thanks Claire

OC Symptoms?
Hi, My sincere apologies if I am posting in the wrong place. I have not been diagnosed with ovarian cancer but seem to have a lot of the symptoms. I have been to see my gp today and am now awaiting blood results including CA125. My reason for posting is because over the last few days I have been struggling

Hi all. We have been ttc for 2&half years now. I went to the doctors 18 months ago to see what my options were, I had bood & smear tests to make sure all was ok and I was ovulating regularly, luckily all seems to be fine apart from high stress levels, which I blamed on work, so much so that I went to

Awful Gynecologist Appointment
Hi everyone, After finally being referred in June by my GP, I had my eagerly awaited appointment with the Gynecologist on Thursday - what a disappointment! I have never ever cried in public like that before! We sat down in the room and did introductions etc and before even asking how I suffer etc her

Cervical spondylosis
I was diagnosed with CS December 2011, just woke up one morning with a sore neck, I'd say I've tried majority of painkillers, none worked, I'm now taking MST continus, prolonged released morphine tablets 50mg twice a day, they ease the neck pain but do nothing for shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, legs

Smear test results
I had a smear test done with my consultant, who told me it would take 2 weeks to come back.. Nearly 4 weeks later I haven't heard, when I ring the consultants Secetary she said they were with the consultant and that she would write to me, this was a week ago! Is there a reason why it's taking so long

Could it be endo?
I remember having horrible periods (passing out because of feeling light headed/heavy bleeding and horrid cramps) when I first states getting them. This wasn't always awful but the bleeding was always fairly heavy. I went on the pill at 16 and everything was then very nice predictable and pleasent for

After falling pregnant with my youngest and mentioning to the doctor who said that I wasnt suspected(?) still

Hiya, I'm new here to this .. I just wanted a few peoples opinions as I've been dealing with this for a long time now, since 2012. I have always had heavy periods, painful periods, etc since the age of 9/10 when I first started them. I was put on numerous different forms of contraception to help with

Period not heavy??
Hi ladies, I am due to have a lap and hysteroscopy with d&c in a couple of weeks. When I went to the GP 4 mths ago, my periods were heavy ish but I went because of the all month long period pains I was having with some sever pain around ovulation. However my last 2 weren't heavy and lasted only 4 days

Still not sure
Still not sure whats wrong with me and its making me nervous again. I had a colonoscopy done which showed my colon was normal. I felt good after the colonoscopy but then a week or 2 later I was constipated again. Im still having random sharp pains in my anus/rectum, stabbing pains in my back and stomach

Periods??
Ok don't really like this subject but when I was diagnosed 13 years ago it was because my periods had completely stopped. Now I have gone to the other end of the spectrum and that my periods can be horrendous to point I cant move as it's hurts and is almost as if my legs wouldn't work. I can't move today

Laparoscopy diagnosis healthy : confused
Hi I recently had a laparoscopy on monday to identify causes of my pelvic pain...extremely painful periods, pain when having sex, and random 'pulling' pains in my pelvic region. My lap diagnosed a healthy uterus with no sign of endometriosis. Although I feel really grateful that i have a healthy uterus

MRI Scan
I feel that I ought to try a third time, also staying still for 20 minutes worries me if I get uncomfortable as I also got
cervical
spondylosis
and my back goes into spasm too. So I don't know what to do, should I try to attempt the MRI scan one more time? Any advice would be welcome!
