im sat crocheting now

couldnt get all the colors i waned but will substitute

my mum was a knitter, i cant knit i allways land up with too many or not enough stitches lol

Mandy, I could follow a pattern but the tension was all over the place. Used to crochet when I was a kid. How many doilies and tray covers does a household need?

ive never done doillies or tray covers

maybe i should try

ive just done incredible hulk for 4 year old grandson who requested it

he was sat cuddling his toys i had allready made and looked at daughter and said 'can nanny make me the hulk' cheeky moo

so now i have to make something for grandaughter

normally i do blankets but get bored too quick so need something to make my brain work

Mandy, Doilies are for novices to practice on scraps You stick with making lovely toys for your grandchildren. A friend made a life size bassoon for bassoon player. She got a lot of admiring looks when they did a handover at Kings Cross station.

wow that must have taken some time

ive started making gifts now, i made a toilet roll holder last year for hubbys hard to please aunt, she was ver the moon and really appreciated it, did sis inlaw and inlaws a paddington bear each, last year i did anna elsa olof sven and kristoff for grand daugher they were so hard and took months she loved them, thomas tank for grandson,

its my sons girlfreinds mums 50th next week i didnt have a clue what to buy her so got her a nice mug, made a cozy with 50 on ot filled it with smelly candles and a small bear holding a 50 balloon, cost a couple of quid and out of the leftover wool i made 2 pairs of baby shoes, mittens and a loopy hat

hubbys mums birthday is coming up so she has a big slice of cake (tissue box cover)
