I feel so guilty
And its all because of this awful illness and the devastating effect in can have on the brain, specifically the memory. My daughter told me a few weeks ago that she had had a smear test come back abnormal (she is only 25 and it was her first smear) and that the GP was sending her for further tests

My Endo Story
I think I must have had Endometriosis for a very long time because I always have had unexplained pains in my legs and ankles and abdomen which have been passed off as sciatica or normal "womens" pains or period pain or whatever else. I just had no idea what Endometriosis was and didn't find out about

Diagnosed with a tumour on my cervix
Hello, I have just been diagnosed with cervical cancer. My mum died of cervical cancer when I was 15, mum was 40, the same age I am now. I never ever thought I would truly be unlucky enough to have the same disease at the same age as mum. I always worried but if I'm honest, I didn't think life could

I NEED TO FIND A NEW DR
Alongside Fibro I have Raynauds, Carpal Tunnel, OA,
Cervical
spondylosis
, Pspriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis and IBS. I don't think anti depressants can cure all this - I wish they could! The thing is, I don't want to change my Dr and find another who is just the same.

Another smear test !!!
I have been to my hospital appointment . The registrar was awful another one ... She was very abrupt and not listening to anything I said . I have just been transferred back and she forced me to have a smear test despite having one less than 6 months ago in another hospital . She didn't look at my scan

Squiggly snug as a bug in my tum...
UPDATE She likes my tumwell by the looks of things! Had an attempted sweep. Cervix not forward enough for my midwife to do her magic. Her head is engaged but still needs to come down. So how was the procedure? No great shakes really. Like a smear. Not uncomfortable at all. Breathed nice

12 months with an Endo diagnosis
I write a blog about running and often it spills into life stuff. Rather than repeat information I thought I would copy the relevant posts here to take you through my journey with endo so far. It's not short and I will probably rewrite it but I have found it incredibly useful to go back through this

Endometriosis and PCOS.
I have suffered with uncontrollable hormones since puberty. I have been on Cerazette since I was 14 years old. This stopped me having periods. In October 2010 I was having severe lower abdominal cramps, so I went to see my GP. He had a scan arranged within weeks for me and told me to come off my pill

Endo on bowel and in vagina- surgery
Hi I am new to this site but just about at my wits end. I was diagnosed with endo last year after 12 years of being told I was normal and had IBS. I have been told my endo has stuck my bowel to my cerix and also has grown through into my vagina. For years doctors kept wondering what the lumps were

I could really use some advice and someone to talk to.
Hey. I'm 19 and have just been diagnosed with Endometriosis. I have suffered from the horrific symptoms for about 6 years now. I've had countless numbers of scans, and in 2011 a laproscopy showing no signs of Endo, just a cyst on one of my ovaries. I have cysts on my cervix as well as severe cervical

Having the Mirena fitted later today ...
Feeling terribly nervous about having it. Mainly because the endo is bad enough as it is and it seems that the coil will either make things worse or considerably better. I feel like I'm playing roulette while I continue to buy time and do my menopause dance...Will let you know how I get on. Everything

Advice anyone?
I have
cervical
spondylosis
and was recently admitted to hospital with severe chest and arm pain. Iam taking 3x300mg Gabapentin a day. Today I've experienced the same chest/arm pain. It woke me up as it very often does in the night. Now wondering f I might have unstable angina.

Mirena Nightmare! Be warned
I dont know what possessed me but I had a mirena coil fitted on 2nd Jan to try to control my heavy periods. What a mistake. I have had constant low grade pain, bloating, bleeding since. then last monday i had a smear test that coincided with the coils 6 week check up. Well the nurse must have dislodged

Can any of the cancer come back even thou the doctors said they got it all?
I went for pap smear it didn't come back normal. So I had my cervic removed it still didn't remove all the cells. So I had to have a complete hystereoctomy the doctors said they got all the cells. I am worried that it may come back. What do you think?
