PGS - miscarriage and now chemical. Any hope?
Hi all, I have just had a chemical with another PGS normal embryo, after having a miscarriage with a PGS normal last year. I have had every test - NK cells, blood clotting etc - and for this round, I spent a lot on IVIg. The doctor just keeps telling me "its a numbers game", but I am losing hope rapidly

Low stimulation IVF - advice needed
Hi all, I wondered whether you amazing ladies might be able to offer some advice. I'm currently doing my third round of IVF and have decided to opt for lower stimulation this time round. The first round, I had 19 eggs collected and the second time I had 22 eggs collected and ended up with nine embryos

Vaccine and IVIG
I have my second vaccine next Saturday but am scheduled for my routine IVIG on Tuesday. I just found a journal article that suggested that IVIG before a vaccine could reduce efficacy of the vaccine because the IVIG might "fight" the vaccine. I emailed my doctor to ask if I should put off IVIG a week

Spinal Fusion identified while on Lung Transplant List
Good morning all, I have been listed on the Lung Transplant List for over 2 1/2 years now. They noticed I had the start of osteoporosis when I was officially listed which they put down to years of taking prednisolone. I have recently had another bone density scan and it showed up a spinal fusion? Has

Myasthenia Gravis ,My Dandelion ,My Life
Diagnosing was just as problematic as Living with Myasthenia Gravis , just like the Dandelion. I pluck from my garden ,they disappear momentarily and reappear, in another place only to remind me ,I need to keep and give attention to make sure it don't kill ,steal or destroy whatever maintenance necessary

Greetings
Hello all. I am new to the site. I have been searching for a MBC-specific group to join since our situation is vastly different than many others. I went through my initial Breast Cancer starting in 2012. Stage 3. Chemo, radiation, bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction. All was well until October

Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances. I have extremely high bone density, so have degenerative spinal disease

On the edge with too many decisions
Long story, some venting, need input. Some of you have followed my story of my major car accident last March. It was the other driver’s fault, but I was really hurt. So, on top of COVID-19, I was hospitalized alone, had no job, and spent 9 moths in physical therapy only to have them tell me they have

SABCS 2020 Recap - Exciting New Therapies!
As many are aware, the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2020 was held virtually this year. There were several presentations about promising treatments for people with MBC, which are presented in my conference recap. Two of the most encouraging drugs are Tesetaxel, an oral version of intravenous

A glimmer of hope…
I’ve been on the IC for over 18 months now, I see a few familiar names that I remember from when I was here last. I SO miss running, not only for the physical benefits but for the mental health benefits too. I’ve been out due to osteoarthritis in my foot, I’ve got to the stage where I can’t even walk
