CRT - D Pacemaker Part 3

Atrial Flutter and Atrial Fibrillation
I am in my 70's and have had a recent
catheter
ablation
for AF. My consultant advised me that I also had Atrial Flutter, which was causing me to be very dizzy and having falls. Following the ablation I have been cured of A Flutter but the Atrial Fibrillation remains.

Pramipexole and Benzodiazepine taper.
Hi, docundy, You're post had a lot of pertinence for me. I also believe many drugs cause or exacerbate rls. The trick is finding out which ones (I suspect more than just one of one;s 'drug arsenal'.) I'm 73,recently diagnosed, and would like to get off my Xanax. I take them for anxiety, have some several

Catheter Ablation recovery
Hi, I had
catheter
ablation
for SVT on Friday. I was nervous before but the procedure was fine and I did it without sedation. They did use adrenaline in the procedure to get my heart to misfire which was a strange sensation but bearable. However the recovery is much harder than I thought.

Ablation with damage from the catheter
3 weeks post Ablation, climbed the stairs (slowly) for the first time without arrhythmia. My heart is healing well . . . but suffering from the collateral damage in my leg from the catheter. The aneurysm in my groin has been successfully repaired . . . the blood that leaked into my leg has pooled in

TAKE HEART, A. Fibbers and A. Flutterers
I got rhythm. I got sinus rhythm, which I got it six months ago following my cardiac ablation at the City Hospital in Nottingham. I accept that my A fib might return but the longer I am in NSR the less likely this is. And Isn't this a lovely picture? The Holy Grail for all us A Fibbers and A Flutterers

Two months post ablation
If all goes well I expect to have the
catheter
ablation
in August/September. Overall, I am very happy with the progress and very optimistic for my long term recovery.

Bypass and Ablation at same time
,Ive read it could be more successful than a
catheter
ablation
. I might had that my AF is virtually symptom free and it doesn't affect my quality of life that much so I often wonder should I have the ablation. Echo good on all relevant meds

Abdominal Pain after Cardiac Ablation
Hi, I had a cardiac ablation on 6/8/2017. I am happy at this point to report that other than some flutters and flops the first week that immediately converted to normal sinus rhythm, the a-fib seems to be under control. However, I have been having off and on abdominal pain since I woke up from the

Do I have endo??
Hello Lately it's been nothing but a struggle...I've had my "period" for 75+ days straight with awful cramp like pain in the pelvis. The pain is all over. Sometimes only on my left side, sometimes in the middle (cervix) and sometimes on my right side where it shoots down my right leg. I've had multiple

I am new here - Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid and Mycophenelate
I was diagnosed with AF in 2000 and eventually had a successful cardiac ablation in 2011. At a similar time I was diagnosed with Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid (MMP) which is basically an incurable autoimmune blistering disease. I have just been put on Mycophenelate (I have been resisting this and/steroids

Love waiting
Its 4 am here in the States. I haven't had a single wink since my scare. Now I'm still in the Emergency department waiting for transport to another hospital. The other hospital is where my Electrophyologist is and I bet he won't be happy to see me. I'm his favorite problem patient. None the less he takes

So im laying in the ER of a semi-crappy hospital waiting to see if they keep me here or Transport me to a different

I have read a lot and it seems to me I am a good candidate for
catheter

. Anybody have thoughts on my assumption? Sorry for the long post.
