Lately it's been nothing but a struggle...I've had my "period" for 75+ days straight with awful cramp like pain in the pelvis. The pain is all over. Sometimes only on my left side, sometimes in the middle (cervix) and sometimes on my right side where it shoots down my right leg. I've had multiple ultrasounds and tv ultrasounds, an endo biopsy, blood work etc... the only thing the doctors were able to tell me is that there were some cysts found on my ovaries (PCOS) they've put me on Hormones, a bc pill and a secondary progesterone pill to try and stop the bleeding. Nothing has worked. I was in ER a week ago bc I was bleeding through a super+ tampon and pad every hour for almost 3 days. They addressed my anemia but still can't figure out what is causing the bleeding and pain. Since then the bleeding has slowed to what I would consider a normal/heavy period but the pain is still there every day😕 This is obvs affecting my life in the most negative way so I've been searching for an answer as to why this is happening most things I read lead me to endometriosis. I was wondering if anyone has had these same symptoms and if so what should I say to my doctor to get her to look into endo? I feel like bc my ultrasound didn't show endo they've dismissed it. I've been bounced from one doctor to the next, I love all of them, they are so very nice but I feel like they just refer me to the next one bc they can't find the problem. I've talked to my current doctor about getting an endometrial ablation to stop the bleeding but I'm 33 years old and she told me if for some reason the ablation doesn't work the next and only step would be a hysterectomy. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks so much!!

Hi, I can't offer much advice on this to be honest but just wanted to say that I'm sorry you're going through this.
I didn't have bleeding like yours but did have the pain. Endo won't show on an ultrasound and should really be the next port of call (in my opinion anyway) if they don't see cysts etc and believe it to be a gyne issue and if your symptoms line up.
I have had ablation this month. Can't say if it's helped yet as not healed enough to know and no where near a period yet as I am now going 3 months without.
I do think there are other options than ablation then hysterectomy though so don't let thst upset you..I know you've had different tablets etc but you can have injections which cause false menopause, or the coil fitted. I have heard that the coil really helps but have opted not to have this myself as want a baby next year and I don't think it'll be in long enough to do a lot.
Personally the lady saying ablation then hysterectomy is worrying and I would be looking for an endo specialist because a hysterectomy, to me, is the end of the road and not something you jump to.
