Potassium!
I recently checked my
calcium
intake on my GP's advice as I am off dairy due to probably a lactose intolerance, and did indeed find it low. So whilst other foods have Ca, I needed supplements too. The Ca had no effect on my arrhythmias (& not expecting any).

Diltiem vs bisoprolol
I think it’s a
calcium
channel blocker though I’m not sure what that means. I know someone who’s been on it for 10 years as he couldn’t tolerate bisoprolol, and I’d love to know if anyone here has any thoughts or experience. Thanks.

Coffee & caffeine: can the benefits of coffee be replicated without coffee?
The local antioxidant property of CGAs aids in neurogenesis and together with pyrogallol, trigonelline, catechol, 5-hydroxytryptamides, and N-methylpyridinium exhibits similar effects by increasing
calcium
signaling and dopamine release in the central nervous system [13,41].

Vitamin D
I have just read a book called Vitamin K2 and the
Calcium
Paradox by Kate Rheaume Bleau. If you are taking Vitamin D or
Calcium
this book certainly contained important info about whole body need of this little known vitamin.

CT Scan
I had a CT Cardiac Angiogram and
calcium
Scoring today. All went well and apart from the odd hot feeling when the die was injected there were no effects. That is until about 1 hour later I ached in every joint arms, legs and shoulders.

Better than a DEXA?
I've been doing what I can- exercise, weights, yoga,
Calcium
-D3-K2 supplements and doing the OsetoStrong program. I have increased my strength 175% since starting OsteoStrong, so I'm hoping that will translate to some bone strength as well.

CT Scan
Just had a phone call from my Cardiologist following my scan, he was very pleased with the results and my stents are keeping the bloodflow good and my
calcium
score was better than 75% of the population of my age.

Algaecal vitamins
I am USA, planning to Order algae-cal that contains

Calcium pills bad for you?
Was searching to learn if I could crush

pills to take in water and came across this - which put me on alert! It’s not without at least some research. (?) https://www.aarp.org/health/drugs-supplements/info-07-2012/are-you-taking-too-much-calcium.html

When to take iron
But also not close to when I take other minerals such as
calcium
or magnesium, or certain medicines like my thyroid medicine. Is it OK then to take iron at the same time I take my RLS medicine, which at this time is still ropinerole, before bed?

Calcium channel blockers
I’ve started on Diltiazem 60mg twice a day. I’ve been on it for2weeks now. I just wondered whether it is too soon to expect an improvement in my AF ? My pulse is very irregular most of the time ! I did have an ablation 7 years ago but recently the AFhas returned . I am now 76 and would prefer not to

DXA Bone Density T score Lumbar spine from -4.0 to -3.6
For the past two years I have been taking Marine collagen, vitamin D,
calcium
, and magnesium. I also started Pilates on 11/2021 and I go 4-5 a week. I have to see my doctor next week, but was wondering if anyone knows if this is an indication that what I'm doing seems to be working?

hi, I’ve read a lot of posts here and am finding them extremely reassuring , I haven’t found this on any fb so far. I’ll try and give a condensed story of myself.
