Vitamin D

I have just read a book called Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox by Kate Rheaume Bleau. If you are taking Vitamin D or Calcium this book certainly contained important info about whole body need of this little known vitamin. I had been taking 5000iu of vitamin D3 for over a year and not realising the need for other cofactors. If you don’t wish to read the book then Dr Kate is on utube as well. But I would highly recommend listening to the important info from her research

Thank you.

I do try to encourage people to find out about and take K2 with their D3 unless they are on anticoagulants if I mention it on here.

I take a dual, balanced, D3+K2 supplement. I'm a bit alarmed by how little this is known about, alongside all the rest of nutrition, from most medics.

Doctors don’t seem that interested in vitamins and nutrition . I feel that if PA were treated with. a pharmaceutical drug , we would not have trouble in getting our treatment. The pharmaceutical industry would be very pleased ( and we know how powerful they are) . There would be no need for nurses to do the injections. ………Read into that what you will .

What's more they are financially incentivised to prescribe drugs instead.😔

I'm not as anti "big pharma" as many - I know they produce big profits and I never condone unethical practices - but they do invest £billions in 3rd world countries and specialist things like cancer care. Don't get me wrong, I know that this definitely isn't altruistic - whoever finds a cancer cure (or a covid cure) has a licence to print money, but it all helps the world in the long run.

But it's usually big pharma who are producing the supplements as well as the drugs so they are fairly ambivalent about which they supply.

In my experience the best medics have an all round knowledge and do not discount the value of nutrition and exercise... And those who do are usually a lost cause!

Enjoy the sunshine! x
