Well it’s been a hard two weeks. My GAD has flared again. I’ve been climbing the walls again. I think the past year and a half has caught up with me. I’ve been pushing my limits for a long time. With my operation and recovery, going back to work too early, my sister ‘s stroke and running back and

Another Echolight Scan versus Dexa Numbers
I currently take
calcium
and Vitamin D, Magnesium, C, etc. Does Collagen work? I've heard mixed things about Strontium. Ugh.

PLMD and withdrawal
Three weeks ago I stopped (after tapering slowly) gabapentin. I have also been reducing morphine sulphate from 8mg by .01mL every 5 days for the last three weeks. PLMD off the charts. I take 2mg lunesta every 3 nights -- and not more -- in the hopes of not getting addicted. Those nights are better

Baclofen tablets- experiences of.
I’ve recently had a really bad bout of neck spasm, following a General anaesthetic for a bladder distension for interstitial cystitis. I think the anaesthetist was a bit rough with my head extension! ( I’ve had 3 neck fusions, the last was in 2009. Am fused from C3-T3 posteriorly and from C3-C7 anteriorly

Same medicine, different brand?
I take a
calcium
channel blocker called Vera-Til SR 120mg, also known as Verapamil however, this particular brand is currently out of stock and I have been given an alternative which is Half Securon SR.

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist

Anybody with bradycardia (low heart rate)
However, it also occurs to me that the the CALR mutation also messes with
calcium
homeostasis. It seems possible to me that this could also have an effect on heart rate and pattern.

Involuntary jerks in left side of upper body
I am wondering whether it is some neurological issue and is being caused by electrolyte imbalance or
calcium
, phosphorous abnormal levels. Initially it was too much jerks like 5 times in 30 minutes. Now it is reduced. I will be discussing with nephrologist next week when I meet him.

Is anyone with CKD on Clonidine b/p drug?
First he gave me a
calcium
channel blocker that just didnt work, and then switched me to clonidine 1 mg. This really works, and I keep track of my b/p every day, and found it works best if I take it every other day. The side effects are such that I cant take it every day, no way.

Avoid foods with
calcium
in (milk, cheese etc) when first eating as it messes up the medicine intake. Possible side effects: heart palpitations, anxiety, agitation, involuntary movements etc possibly in first few weeks.
