Can anyone comment on my daughter's blood tests and advise what - if anything - we should do next?
My daughter is 18. I first requested blood tests with the GP when she was 15. This was during covid. I had to fight over the phone for them but she'd put on weight rapidly, she especially looked to be retaining fluid in her legs, feet, hands and face. Other symptoms = tiredness, slow movements, dry eyes

GCA and Ocular TIA (mini stroke)??
I was diagnosed with GCA four and a half years ago , am on my third relapse and am tapering (now 10mg prednisolone and weekly Actemra). At the onset I had severe headaches and a dark 'veil' over half of my left eye which went after about 5 minutes and the opthalmologist put me on 60 mg prednisolone

I have suffered with restless legs for many years but didn’t know it was a condition until about a year or so ago then the Gp handed me a prescription for Ropinarole which at first worked but then needed increase dose. anyway I weened off them but my legs are still restless and I take magnesium glycinate

I’ve been on thyroxine for 50 years and for last 30 years reasonable stable on 1.25 a day. I do have a medichecks test every year. I don’t have high antibodies . A few years ago I was waking in the night chocking and mri showed my thyroid gland had all but disappeared, with a small part of what was left

Weird test results
I tried to post my results the other day in the hope that one of our amazing Admins might be kind enough to give their opinion but the photo came out blurred for some reason. I take 3 grains of Armour which I’ve been doing since 2017 and up to now have been ok. However the last three to four months

History of Hypothyroidism on Maternal Side (Gma, mom, aunt, sister). HELP! Should I get tested?
After I gave birth in 2006, I immediately had a “flare up.” My body ached , I felt exhausted and was covered in hives (rashes, welts, eczema). I was put on a Prednisone taper starting at 60mg. Throughout the time between 2006 and 2024, I have regular flare ups. I’ve torn two rotator cuffs, awoken to

calcium supplement before reclast infusion
is it best to take a calcium supplement before my infusion, I have had a blood test prior to my infusion but a blood test doesn't really show how much calcium in your bones and I have been reading that reclast lowers calcium levels.

Post Gallbladder Removal magnesium warning
I had my gallbladder removed a year ago after a gallstone got stuck and caused me to turn yellow with jaundice. I have had the usual after-effects, a bit more diarrhoea etc if I ate the wrong foods like fried stuff etc but I am usually careful to eat sensibly. A couple of months back I started to get

My latest blood tests have just come back. I’d be grateful for comments from the amazing admins please. At the moment I’m not feeling great, my last tests about 8 months ago showed my B12 to be low so I started taking a liquid B12 supplement sublingually. I’m not taking any iron supplements. I take vit

Hi all I have had a lot of issues with BP meds currently on Felodipine 7.5mg and in general they are by far the best I have used.
