Latest Blood Test results, Please advise

Hello Everyone ,

Below are the latest blood test results. (25 May 2024).

I have an appointment with my endo tomorrow morning.

I am currently on 100mcg Levothyroxine and 10 mcg T3 (Thybon Henning)

Fasting blood sample taken in the morning (9am) .

Levothyroxine taken after blood draw.

T3 taken 8 hours before (1am). Blood form advised to take 4hrs before the blood draw.

Now, the day before I forgot to split my T3 dose. I just took 10mcg T3 and 100mcg T4 the day before. I don't know if that actually had an impact on the T3 results below.

Stopped Igenuss Super B complex 3 days before but continued with Magnesium.

1. TSH 0 .27 mIU/L (0.27 - 4.2)

2. Free T4 19.1 pmol/L (12.0 - 22.0)

3. FT3 7.1 pmol/L [3.1 - 6.8] => This is outside the range.

4. Fasting Insulin 6.9 mIU/L less than 10

5. Creatine 111 umol/L 59-104

6. LDL 3.6 mmol/L Upto 3.0

7. Non-HDL Cholesterol 4.1 mmol/L < 3.8

8. HDL Cholesterol 0.8 mmol/L 0.9 - 1.5

Can someone please comment on my T3 being too high?

Is it because I should have split the dose the day before and I didn't.

I'm just worried my endo might reduce the T3. If he does want to reduce it, what should I tell him?

I could suggest to my endo that I do a repeat test in 3 months's time.

On the positive side, my fasting insulin is now within range. That's good news.

For others who are interested:

- I cut out sugar (in coffee/tea), biscuits, cakes, sweets, desserts, chocolates, ice-creams, alcohol from April 2024.

- Keeping an eye on my portion sizes for carb intake (rice, bread etc)

- Exercise (walking, running, swimming (recently)

- Home-cooked food and avoiding take-aways.

I did take this for a month: cytoplan.co.uk/blood-glucos...

It's hard to say if this helped.

Is there anything else I should clarify with my endo?

Thank you.

These are strange results as your TSH is still within range when you are taking 10mcgs T3 as well as Levo. Which suggests you need more of something but the free hormone results are either good or high.

Your FT4 looks OK as its 71% of range. I can only suggest to retest and make notes in your calendar to split the dose the day before.

Thank you.

Endo has asked for a repeat test. He may or may not reduce the dose after that.

Wondering what causes the FT3 to go higher?

I have started taking Igennus Super B Vitamin and Magnesium.

I did take a few Vitamin B12 Sublingual tablets as well.
