Vaginal delivery after emergency c section
Dear all, I just want to hear your experiences and what your advice would be. With my first pregnancy I was induced at 42 weeks and endeded up having an emergency c sectio when labour wouldn't progress. It was a pretty traumatic experience as contractions started in the early hours of Monday morning

Been told to stop running today
I've got an abdominal hernia and need surgery on it. Went to the doctors as I've been experiencing pain between my appendix and c section scars. He's advised me to stop running and not exercise too heavily. I'm absolutely gutted as I'd made it to Week 6 Run 2 so can't wait until after the surgery and

Liver blood results
Hi I had a liver resection surgery 14 months ago. My liver enzymes remain very high or out of range still, does anyone know, will they always be like this. Am being monitored, consultant was concerned about bile duct inflammation due to raised alkaline phosphor apse. Says he's not concerned anymore,

Any tips for a husband/dad in the early stages of PP?
Hello. We had our first child on 10/11/12. Delivery was traumatic (emergency c section, 3 litre loss of blood). But he is a wonder and doing well. However, my wife has had a number of what we now know to be psychotic episodes. Eventually on 19/11/12 she was admitted to a mother and baby unit after

Endo in my stomach muscle after c-section.
6 months ago I noticed a lump in my groin which swelled and was painful after exercise and at certain times in my cycle. Thankfully I have private insurance and had ct and mri scans after which I was led to believe I had a 2.5cm desmoid tumour in one of my stomach muscles. However after a biopsy last

Worried about weight, will they do lap if it is needed? And wondering if anyone in similar situation can advise on methods?
Hey ladies Firstly one thing bothering me is that I've recently gained weight. Over the last year-18 months that I've been on the Depo injection I've put on 1st. I'm guessing this is cos of weight gain being a typical side-effect, because I put on 2st in 6 months on the contraceptive implant 6 years

Armless and Frozen Peas
For today's amusement it's my arms that are giving me the most pain, closely followed by the shoulders and lower back. Me thinks a game of windmills is out. Today is The Boys 14th birthday, he's happily scoffing jerky and playing a new Xbox game, gift from one sister. Funny to think that about this

Our BWS journey so far
Our daughter was diagnosed with BWS at birth. My anti natal scans were showing that I was having a very large baby and I was told there was a possibility of BWS the day before she was born. I was booked in for a C-section the following day, and we went home and researched the condition. She was born

Pelvic Pain: The Role of Scar Tissue
Scar tissue is a common contributing factor to pelvic pain. The good news is: it’s an issue that’s highly treatable with PT. In this blog, I plan to give you the rundown of how scar tissue can impair the pelvic floor as well as how PT and self-treatment can successfully treat these impairments.
