In 2007 i had my 3rd child by c-section in 2009 i noticed a lump on my scar of which i went on to scanned and be told was scar tissue. In 2011 i paid for a scan privately as the pain from this was becoming unbearable and the lump was big. In march this year i had this lump removed it was endometriosis

Worried Mum and new to site.
My daughter had baby by c section 8 weeks early and with IUGR and low amniotic fluid. (She had a previous ectopic pregnancy about 12 years ago) 4 days later she suffered a splenetic infarct, had an infection and tested positive to lupus anticoagulant. Dr said she had sticky blood. She was in hospital

Pregnant with endometriosis: vaginal birth or C section?
After finally being diagnosed with endometriosis last year though a laparoscopy, I had Prostap for 3 months. Periods returned in October and a little miracle came my way on New Years day and am now 29 weeks with my first baby. I am wondering whether the possibility of having a C-section might make the

Restart of RA medication after an operation
I've had a TURP last week. If you don't know what that is then please ignore this question. 4 days after the op I re-started Sulfasalazine. Today I am about to re-start MTX. CIMZIA will have to wait another 3 weeks at least, I was told. Has anybody been in a similar situation? Are there things I should

Newbie to the site but old hand at dealing with RA. This is my story...
Hi everybody. I thought I'd introduce myself. I am 48 years old and have had RA since 1973. So, I'm afraid this is rather a long post so forgive me but I hope it will help some of you dealing with RA. Originally diagnosed with Still's, my parents were told there was every likelihood I would

Please Please Help, do not understand what my GP has told me and unsure as whether I have Hughes or not.
I think (think being the operative word) that I have recently been diagnosed with Hughes, and have had no real help or information from my GP and thankfully found your website, where I'm hoping that I can find out more info and receive support from members on here. I went to my gp after having suffered

I know this is the 'silent disease' and I don't want to look like a hypochondriac, but can anyone help?
Hello, I hope nobody minds me asking this, but I am going crazy with worry. My last period lasted five weeks and was very heavy, bad cramps some days, mild ones on others. When it stopped, my doc did a pelvic exam and said all was good down there, he also did a smear and said my cervix looked fine

Back pain - new symptom
Hi. My gp suspects endo; have been in hospital twice with horrendous abdo pain, had ct scan, ultrasound and xrays - all clear. Pain was across my c-section scar but now is more prominent in my lower back and it's horrible. I've read that this is a symptom of endo but was wondering if anyone else suffers

An updated version of 'my original story blog' - Goodness me I think I may have stage fright etc!
Goodness me, I may have 'stage fright' I am in my forties, and have muddled along bringing up children, helping with the family business and fending off endless health problems as well as I can. As a small child up to teenage years, it became the norm to feel as if I was just about to have

Just wondering.. How many sufferers were breastfed as babies (for 6 months or more)?
I was breastfed for 10 wks and them put on formula, and then Wysoy (1976/7 version), when I became lactose intolerant. I couldn't breastfeed my daughter as the piece of placenta they left behind after my c-section made my hormones still think I was pregnant. Then after a d&c I started to get it back
