Congratulations, are you feeling nervous?

Im a soon to be mummy but ive still got a good couple of weeks to go, im 28 weeks on Monday!

If you dont mind me asking how comes your having to have a c-section? Im going through all sorts of births in my head at the moment haha!

With the bag im guessing because you know when your going in probs do it like a week or so before? or be really prepared and do it over the next few weeks haha :)

Congratulations to you too! Yes this is our first and I’m classed as an older mum at 38! 😂

We are having an elective c -section as my husband works 3/4 weeks each month in the US and we want to have a firm date so he can definitely be here.

The weeks flew in from 29 weeks for us so enjoy your time before baby arrives haha! We moved countries and will be moving countries again in June so enjoying my sleep and baths before the little one arrives xx

Ah im sure everything will go fine for you :) and least you wont have to worry about going over due or wondering when baby will be here you have a definite date!

I cant believe how quickly its gone already so im sure ill blink and we will be at the due date haha. Oh wow yeah you enjoy that peace and relaxation i cant imagine it will be fun moving country with a new baby, are you moving anywhere nice?xx

Yes at least I have a firm date in my head.I have to go back and see my consultant in 2 weeks time as our little girl is slightly small but the consultant didn’t seem too concerned.

We are moving back to Europe as we’ve just come from there. We miss the heat and sunshine ☀️ xx

That’s interesting, my other half lives in USA and we worried about him missing labour so never knew you could organise c sections etc! Wishing you all the best!

Thankyou Starlight_ftm.Yes I think also because I’m a slightly older first time mother they’ve agreed to it.

It’s reassuring to know my husband won’t miss her being born xx

Yeah I’d like to try pushing her out as I’m a FTM hehe but it is good you are able to plan her or his arrival :) wishing you well

Hi.

Congrats with your pregnancy.

I would suggest you to pack your bags because you never know if the baby will decide to come before your c-section date. That is the reason why babies born from 37 weeks onwards are classed as full time. Better to be prepared than rush at the last min.

Congratulations! How exciting!

I'm 36+2 weeks and I've had my bags packed since around 33-34 weeks. I kept having a constant fear of him coming early so I packed them :).

Wishing you all the best! Xx

It is very exciting! The last few months I've been saying I'm not nervous n now knowing he could come anytime I keep having painful twinges down below like he's moving further down n reality set in meaning the nerves kicked in 😂!

Thank You! Hope everything goes well with you and baby! Xx
