Laparoscopic c section niche repair
Hello. Just after some advice if anyone has had a previous c section scar defect (niche) repaired via laparoscopy? Since TTC my second child (started IVF again in August last year) I’ve had a miscarriage (untested embryo) and two failed transfers (these were euploid embryos). I have a niche and my consultant

Rectocele and laparoscopy
Hi everyone, this is my first post to any kind of forum at all so bear with me! I began having very painful periods after my c section with my second child, not really any heavier bleeding, in fact sometimes I barely bled properly but the pain was very intense. I've ended up in urgent care with suspected

Elective c section - update
Just wanted to update you all, after having an elective c section to bring my LG into the world. I was very apprehensive about it and whether I was doing the right thing. I got emotional as soon as we got to theatre but the staff couldn't have been nicer, I've been so well looked after and baby arrived

Can endo cause burning pain in the hip and around the lower back and ibs.
Hi, I’ve been suffering with long heavy periods for many year. I had an ablation at 40 which stopped the bleeding for 7 years, but now at 53 I’m still bleeding. I went in for a biopsy of the womb under General as, and was told that my womb was stuck together due to the ablation and C-section I had. I

Elective C Section once in Labour
I’m booked for an elective C Section at end of week 39. Now on week 38. I’m having second thoughts about the C Section, particularly what happens if the baby comes early - either water break or contractions start. I’d always thought I’d then ask for an emergency C section (my consultant has approved

Iron levels during pregnancy
At 28 weeks I had my bloods taken by a stand in MW. At my 31 weeks appointment I was told I should have been contacted as my iron levels were low and put on iron tablets. I'm now 35 weeks and they're still under 100. I'm going to have an iron drip today. Just wondered if any of you have had issues with

Pain that worsens upon movement? And triggers longer episodes of pelvic pain if I’ve been lifting or especially walking anywhere.
So, just over 3 years ago, I had a tubo-ovarian abscess, which I was in hospital for around a week with… It’s likely that this may have been caused by the coil itself and a consequent infection. Managed conservatively at the time but after repeated infections and severe pain, I was finally offered surgery

Looking after a 17 month old after c section
I've got a planned c section next month and will also have a 17 month old LB to look after. How did you look after an older sibling that doesn't understand you're unable to lift them/play with them after the section? I'm worried he'll feel pushed out as it is. How did you manage when OH went back to
