Newly Diagnosed Panicking
Ive just had a pelvic ultrasound and was told I have 6 ovarian cysts on the left. Is that a lot? Consultant said ovaries are stuck together and looks like endo. Had Ca125 elevated at 53. Having had thyroid cancer at 26 im worried about ovarian cancer now. Waiting on MRI and gynae referrals. I've had

choosing birth method after IVF - should I be induced?
My consultant has offered me induction or C-section at 39 weeks due to the fact I’m assisted fertility and of an anxious disposition. keen to understand from anyone that’s been in a similar position and been induced with an oxytocin drip how it was? I’m reading lots of scary stories about how painful

Hi everyone 😊 This is my first post, been researching lots about thyroid health the last few days as I had some bloods done a few weeks ago that came back abnormal so I had more done yesterday and I'm just waiting to hear back about those. Been feeling extremely tired and achy, I started taking Sertraline

Hello, this is my first post so hello to everyone. I'm 36 years old. Last September, I was diagnosed with the JAK2v617f mutation. I am 28 weeks pregnant and take 150 mg of aspirin a day. Are there any contraindications to giving birth by cesarean section? I have conflicting information from the gynecologist

Questions related to planned c-section.
I am currently 31weeks 2 days pregnant. I had a meeting with my consultant yesterday to discuss the delivery options. I want a planned c-section. So far I am not at any high risk pregnancy, my baby size is normal, blood pressure is normal, my gestational diabetes level is under control with the diet

Positive induction stories?
Hi, I’m due to be induced tomorrow, I’m 39+2 (I have gestational diabetes which is why I’m being induced) but I’m terrified, I’ve read/ heard all horror stories on induction not working, taking too long and still ending up with c-section. Has anyone had a positive induction experience that can help ease

Muscle mass growth???
hiii c: I’ve been on vyvanse 50mg for about 4 months now and the weight loss is still occurring. At first I didn’t mind because I’ve always been small but had a little extra weight on my lower belly due to having a C-section for my daughter. I’ve always been BIG into fitness and keeping my physique

Decisions re possible surgery
Hi I'm 43 with endometriosis and adenmyosis. Initially diagnosed with endo at 29 via laperoscopy. After chatting with the endometriosis nurse it seems these are my options. 1. Stay as I am (mirena coil in situ) and be referred for pain management. 2. Zoladex injections (chemical menopause). 3. Surgery

Elective c section - update
Just wanted to update you all, after having an elective c section to bring my LG into the world. I was very apprehensive about it and whether I was doing the right thing. I got emotional as soon as we got to theatre but the staff couldn't have been nicer, I've been so well looked after and baby arrived

Can endo cause burning pain in the hip and around the lower back and ibs.
Hi, I’ve been suffering with long heavy periods for many year. I had an ablation at 40 which stopped the bleeding for 7 years, but now at 53 I’m still bleeding. I went in for a biopsy of the womb under General as, and was told that my womb was stuck together due to the ablation and C-section I had. I
