Just wanted to update you all, after having an elective c section to bring my LG into the world. I was very apprehensive about it and whether I was doing the right thing. I got emotional as soon as we got to theatre but the staff couldn't have been nicer, I've been so well looked after and baby arrived safely which is the most important thing. If anyone is thinking of having an elective (had a general anaesthetic emergency section with my first) and has any questions please don't hesitate to ask/PM me. Currently in hospital and enjoying newborn cuddles

Congratulations on the birth of your little girl❤️
Thanks for this! I’m strongly considering the EC because I don’t want anything to go wrong! Did you just tell them that you wanted it!? At what week did you actually sit down and discussed it with midwife!? How long was your recovery!?
Sorry, lots of questions! 😊
I had a VBAC appointment (vaginal birth after c section) as it was my second pregnancy and that was at 22 weeks. You have a birth planning meeting with your midwife at 36 weeks but if you've made your decision I'd suggest telling your MW so you can get booked in.
I had my section yesterday and need to be in for 24 hours after the op. Will be staying longer though as she's not feeding brilliantly.
Hi Sw. wonderful news. Welcome to the world. Enjoy the love you have created. Love and hugs . Diane
Massive congratulations 🎊!! Glad it all went well, enjoy the cuddles and I wish you all the best for your recovery xx
