Hormones ?

I had a liver resection back in 2018 followed by chemo . My question is , does anyone primarily ladies , I guess, have menopausal type hormone based problems? I am past the age of the menopause but these regular cycles of tearfulness, anxiety and mood swings are awful . Lasts for a week or so and gradually fades away for about 3 weeks and then off we go again . Thankyou for reading this .

Hi, yes and no as no one can really say. I was told I was in early menopause about 2/3 years ago and they directly said it was due to my liver. Mood swings and my memory can be awful at times and I battle between is this my hormones (I am post menopausal apparently, now) or is it hepatic encephalopathy as I was told I had this and was then put on rifaximin. The one thing I see physically is that I have a lot of spider naevi on my chest, neck and arms and this definitely gets a lot worse at certain times during the month.
