Good morning everyone, I have a had endo since 2000 but I would say even before that. Recently I took myself to A&E with what I and hospital thought was a hernia, but after a CT Scan result showed a 2-3 cm cyst on my lower left side that has formed inside my c section scar you can actually feel it when

Positive APC Treatment
Just a positive 4 year report on my health. Diagnosed in March of 2016 with a couple of Gleason 9's and 7's and clean bone scan. Immediately began Lupron for 3 1/2 years with 6 month doses. Had 40 radiation treatments in July, August and September. As a regular daily visitor to LA Fitness, my worst side

Found cancer by TURP
My husband of 40plus years had a TURP performed on him in Dec 2019. We had already suspected cancer and he was told he has aggressive prostate cancer, Gleason score 9. He is 91 and the Dr thinks Lupron every 3 months is how he should treat the cancer. He has given him 2 to 5 years because of his age

Anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis then told they don't?
I'm more confused than ever now. I had my second lap 3 weeks ago, with a BSGE surgeon, before that I had a lap with a locum gyne in 2015. In between a horrific c section done by a inexperienced registrar. In the surgery notes it is recorded that possible endometriosis and or scar tissue is seen. In

Induction not working so far
Hi guys I’m 40+6, FTM and was admitted to hospital at 40+4 after a scan showed low amniotic fluid around baby. They wanted to start induction process straight away and I’ve to stay in until baby is born for lots of monitoring. So far they gave me a 24 hour pessary which did start mild contractions,

Low lying placenta
Hello and Happy New Year! I’m almost 22 weeks now and during my 20w scan I was told my placenta was low lying. I’m now booked in to do another scan at 32w and see a consultant to discuss birth options. If the placenta doesn’t move up by then, I’ll need a C section. No news for us, we’ve had a few private

Horrid bloating 3 weeks after laparoscopy
Hello- hope it's a good day for you all. I had lap surgery on 16th december. No endo found but had scar tissue removed under c-section and appendix scars. My question is- is it normal to be bloated badly 3 weeks after surgery? I'm quite fit and was told that I'd be able to exercise (low impact) around

Not sure what to do with changing medication
Hi, I appreciate that I can't get any medical advice here but would like others opinions. I am currently pregnant and likely to have a c-section at the end of March. I was diagnosed with RA in September and started on Sulfasalzine and Hydroxychloroquine. Unfortunately these don't seem to have worked

Best back/tummy support belt postpartum? Is 11 weeks pp too late to get one?
Hi guys, Just wanted some advice, my back has been in agony lately and I know it’s from all the changes after having a baby then having to pick up baby etc, not to mention this after having a c-section. But was wondering if anyone had tried any support belts and if they worked?! Also if it’s too late

C section scar / incisional / secondary endometriosis and having a second baby?
Hi all, I've recently been diagnosed with incisional endometriosis (endo on my c section scar following a c section 3.5 years ago). I opted against having surgery to explore/diagnose/remove it as didn't want to unless absolutely necessary. However we're talking about trying for a second baby and I'm

4th lap-no endo-don't understand
Hello ladies. Hope you're all having one of your better days. I'm just recovering after my 4th very thorough lap showing NO endo which both my consultant and I are utterly shocked at given my symptoms and past. He also performed a hysteroscopy- sample away for testing but he said the lining of my womb

Couchto5k is a godsend
So iv had a strange two years in regards to my health and fitness. I became quite obese and was diagnoses with type two diabetes at age 29, this kicked me into gear and I lost a lot of weight, and fell pregnant(.my weight had previously hindered this) so my weight continued to fall through my pregnancy

Endometrioma
So after a very long journey, I finally had my MRI scan (after it being cancelled twice due to problems at the hospital). It shows a large endometrioma on my c section scar. I have an appointment with my consultant on Tuesday. Does this mean surgery? Anyone else had this, I'm curious of the treatments

5 weeks + 1 day Drama after first ever BFP. Threatened miscarriage. Anyone else similar experience?
Had two 5 day blastocysts implanted on 25th Nov. Got first ever BFP last friday, so I'm five weeks 2 days pregnant today. Since implantation, I've had bad cramps, they've been pretty relentless actually. On Wednesday they got worse but I tried to just crack on and ignore it. Yesterday at lunch time

Pregnancy with clexane and aspirin success
Hello everyone A bit of history : I was diagnosed with APS after one miscarrige(I was extremely lucky to find a good rheumatologist). I was treated with aspirin and plasmoquine since diagnosis. Throughout my pregnancy I used clexane(from week 5) and aspirin. I had a c-section on 18 November at 36 weeks

Hematoma after c section recovery advice needed
Has anyone had a hematoma after c section? How long did it take to go away, and any advice for a good recovery? Had mine 7 weeks now, it seems to go down but at 5 weeks I'd stressed it and it swelled up so delayed my recovery, now I'm worried to do anything like carrying baby car seat in case I stress
