I had a TURP for what my urologist thought was BPH back in late Feb. Pathology showed prostate CA Gleason 9.
I'm finally almost over the abdominal/pelvic pain from the surgery.
I have ED because of the Lupron and Zytiga, and my oncologist gave me a prescription for Cialis.
Well, we tried it last night and things work. Partner and I are pretty thrilled...we both thought our sex life was over for at least a few years. However, I was terrified to try going all the way to climax...so afraid it will really hurt.
What are your experiences with this? Does climax hurt after TURP?

You might try some slow, "hands on" experimentation.
For purely scientific data collection purposes only, of course.
I've had TURP surgery. I don't recall a painful recovery, just the bother of dealing with a foley catheter for a while afterwards. No pain, but 'retrograde' ejaculation. Instead of shooting out, it goes back into the bladder. You won't be fathering any more children except under extraordinary means that I won't go into.
No Pain at all just retrograde ejaculation. Less messy. Pee like a horse again. I woke up the morning after surgery with a very hard erection. Should be all good so test it out and take it steady on the first run
