This breathing exercise may help some of you to combat a craving
Using a deep
breathing
exercise
is an effective way of calming yourself down. This exercise can be done anywhere from sitting down in a chair to waiting for a bus.

(2) How to cough up what's not supposed to be there... Posted by EmJay ROY CASTLE 26 Dec 2012 When you first stop smoking, you may feel that you have more phlegm and mucus on your chest. This may cause you to feel a bit rattly and as though you need to 'cough something up'...

I don't know what to do to help
I have tried everything to help her, encouraged her to
exercise
and to practise the pursed lip
breathing
. She has now told me to stop looking on this site as when I talk about it she feels her heart racing.

Antenatal Classes: any reasonable option beyond free NHS classes and expensive NCT ones?
As we really want to attend a practical one, where we can practice
breathing
exercise
and positions in addition to theory and useful information, I've searched on some websites but the only classes I've found are the NCT ones, that seem long enough to be complete but very expensive, and still not sure

I am scheduled for an ECG, ordered by my doctor *prior* to getting this news, because of an irregular heartbeat coupled with mild difficulty
breathing
(presumed to be "
exercise
-induced asthma"). I've had both symptoms for ages.

Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening Everyone :D It seems that somebody has already popped another Friday into our week before I've had time to make the most of the rest of the days! :-/ If today is the first, or one of the early Fridays / start of your weekends within your stopping smoking

Is breathlessness a symptom of APS?
I never had any problem
breathing
when not pregnant. My GP thought I have a kind of pregnancy asthma and put me on inhalers which help a little, but since I'm newly diagnosed with aps I'm wondering now could it be related.

Is it OK to do breathing exercises when driving in your car?
Ever since I discovered the huff & cough exercises, they have made a HUGE difference to my life and the ability to clear my lungs.....I have severe COPD and so I find if I do a lot of deep breathing exercises generally, any time thoughout the day when I get a chance, its very beneficial to me. I

Got my results!
He was very good at explaining everything and that I need to lose weight ( No shock there ) but my
breathing
will not help if it was to be done with
exercise
so I will have to see a nutritionist to look at a negative diet to get my weight down.
