Breathing exercises for COPD
Hi. Can anyone recommend where to look on this forum for breathing exercises for COPD please. It’s very hot in Cyprus at the moment, 40° and I’m finding it hard to breath.

Almost through with Drs for the month. (of course it is the 28th)
All blood tests and scans done. All but PCP out of the way. Good Showing except for partially collapsed lungs on one MRI. Deep breathing exercises with inspiration machine cleared that problem. Blood tests at VA and Oncologist best ever. PSA Down again on just Xtandi lower dose (120 mg from 160 mg

How to keep your spirits up when asthma is bad
Hi all, I'm now past the bit where it seems my asthma is life threatening, and I have a range of breathing exercises as well as medication to try to get me back on track - it's been about 6 weeks since I've had to go into A&E, and my attacks are now smaller and I can control them better. I know that

breathing exercise help?
Hey everyone! I was just wondering what kind of deep breathing exercises that you all do to help get the shortness of breath to go away? I'm still constant feeling like I cant take a deep breath or I feel like I'm being choked. There are so many different ones I can try but I'd like to know which ones

Can reversing afib without meds be normal?
Hi guys I am new to the a fib family. I had my first episode two years ago, in which I needed to go to the hospital, they converted me back to sinus rhythm with Flecanaide. My second episode was one year later and which Flecanaide reversed again. Third time was six months later in which I stayed home

pred and early waking ?
I'm tapering slowly, down to 4mg now and no PMR aches or pains. At 10pm every evening my eyes start to get dry and sore so I'm asleep ( with eyedrops) by 11:00 pm and I sleep pretty soundly until 4:00 am when I wake up thinking about work / family ./ repairs to he house etc etc . I've tried meditation

Just breathe!! Think I need help.
Breathing
wasn’t great though. I’ve missed my extra
exercise
(yoga and Pilates) the last two weeks - it’s beginning to show! Holiday looming with lots of walking and probably not much running. I can see a rewind ahead! It was all going so well . . . . .

Mysterious chronic shortness of breath
I had to stop
exercise
altogether, apply the Buteyko method and do
breathing
exercises very carefully with very light and slow
exercise
. This helped, but it took many weeks for the SOB to improve.

Pulse rate
I have just moved to week three, moderate
exercise
. I have noticed the difference and my
breathing
is laboured but my pulse rate remains in the low scale. Hence the app tells me I am exercising at the low rate and I must work harder. Any ideas?

Blood/Oxygen
http://janeshealthykitchen.com/24-ways-increase-blood-oxygenation/ I hope it’s ok to post an article here that’s not a scientific study. We’re having issues with anemia, and last week our numbers came up for the first time in months-so no transfusion this week. I think it was Nalakrats talking about

Chronic side stitch
I am a 30 year old female. For 10 + years, every time I run, I get a side stitch within a few minutes and it’s so bad I can’t continue running. This even happens when walking sometimes, biking, skating, using elliptical, etc. It’s usually on the right side under the ribs, but sometimes other spots in

What I am Doing to Lessen My Pre-Diabetes
Hello all, I have pre-diabetes from last 7 years, without going into Diabetes Mellitus 2 as yet. I am 50 years old. Can't cope with this feeling
I know that I have posted about this a few times before but no matter what I try, nothing helps. This constant feeling of my throat feeling tight and feeling like there's a band around my throat. It feels like I'm gonna stop breathing. I get breathless even talking sometimes and I am so tired of feeling

Fast heartbeat
It shoots up doing the slightest
exercise
Don’t know how to get it down. Deep
breathing
and beautiful thoughts don’t appear to help much. Had my ablation last October and after an initial dreadful time am miles better now.
