My present health restricts my

exercise
capacity; last summer I could swim for 30 mn 13. All puffed up with steroids 14. Disturbed sleep, sleeping sitting propped up on and off for 6/7 hours 15. Melancholic 16.

Aria our best fan!!
Hello BLF friends 🍂🍁 Autumn is coming with pretty colours. I’ll take some pictures of the mountains when I can. Not in Milan where Bea has temperatures of 30 and Aria is saying to Liverpool how dare you score in extra time! Just how I feel 😉 Anyway still having respiratory physio every other day

I need your Advice
I can
exercise
and I am ok
breathing
wise. My chest seems tight while out running like I cant get a good inhale. My SPO2 stays at a high number so I know oxygen is getting into my blood. Just wondering why when talking I seem to feel air punching in my chest.

Weird AF
Yesterday I had a weird AF attack where I was woken as usual at 1.30am with racing heart and prepared for the usual 10 to 12 hour episode that I usually suffer. I practiced deep breathing exercises I within 15 minutes my heart returned to NSR. However I still had all the symptoms that I usually suffer

Breathlessness and rib cage pain
I am not overweight, I was very fit before this issue but now cannot
exercise
regularly. My doctor had me do a
breathing
(lung function) test with methacholine and concluded that I do not have asthma. Also, by listening to my heart and lungs she concluded that I am fine.

Afib and Insomnia
I have posted on this before, but for those who may be new there is a very good relaxation app called Sonus Island for the iPhone (possibly also for Android). Basically, you are presented with a map of an island from which you can choose different natural soundscapes: forest sounds, sounds of the sea

Insomnia
It’s currently 530am where I am. I have to work my double shift today as I do every Friday. Every time I feel like I can finally relax my current problems I’ve been dealing with start floating In my head. My chest is tight. I keep doing breathing exercises but as soon as I stop my chest tightens again

Not a good day yesterday. Told to change the way I exercise. Advice needed.
The combination of
breathing
, relaxation and gentle
exercise
I believe would suit me and the condition. Any other Ideas would be appreciated.

Singing for lung health
You don’t have to have a voice like Pavarotti to join as its more about
breathing
control and

. If you are in the UK call the helpline today on 03000 030 555 to see where your nearest group is.

My light in a dark place
Today I went out to the store with my boyfriend, and not even down the street in his car, I began to feel an attack bubble up. When we arrived and got out of his car I thought maybe it was going away since I was doing my breathing exercises and it did for a moment, but but only a moment. When we got

Sudden anxiety and panic
What I did was I went to my room, put my sweater on, listened to panic affirmation, also did some
breathing
exercise
while munching a garlic clove. It helped me to relax a bit until I fell asleep.

Strange symptoms since Feb 2018
I tried to control it with
breathing
exercise
, as I refuse to call the ambulance. I haven't been checked for over 5 years before this incident, because usually I don't have health issues . I was new in the area and next day went to register to nearby GP.

Am I just unfit still or could I have an issue with my breathing (exercise induced asthma)?
So been running for about 14 weeks now and can comfortably run a 5k in around 35 mnutes but I am so out of breath at certain ponts it's scary. Usually as soon as I start I have breating issues, but can genearlly calm this down if I slow down a bit, but I'm constanlty heavy breathing for the full 5k.
