I have posted on this before, but for those who may be new there is a very good relaxation app called Sonus Island for the iPhone (possibly also for Android). Basically, you are presented with a map of an island from which you can choose different natural soundscapes: forest sounds, sounds of the sea, whale sounds, bird sounds and so on. There are also various meditations which are guided by a relaxing voice against the soundscape background, as well as breathing exercises. This app would be very good for someone who is having an Afib episode or is anxious before going to sleep (or who wakes in the middle off the night and cannot get back to sleep ). You can download a (restricted functionality) free version. The full version costs a few pounds.

Thanks for the info. I don’t sleep well and have various relaxation/meditation apps on my phone which sometimes help. I will definitely check this one out!

This sounds very much like the ‘white noise’ app I use with my grandsons. There is a wide choice of background sounds and with the eldest in particular it always got him off to sleep.
