Does B6 on its own affect thyroid blood results?
Hello, I booked a blood test this week but just realised I've been taking B6 each day for past few weeks and I know you're supposed to be off all B vitamins before the test. Does anyone know how it interferes with the blood results and what it affects? I'm guessing I need to cancel and re-book.

Help with latest bloods?
Following a blood test where I was advised I had high TPO antibodies I saw a private endo, blood showed hashimotos however he said blood indicating I was likely to go overactive although symptoms suggest underactive. He requested further bloods and have the results today Serum Cortisol - Normal 701nmol

The importance of GOOD SLEEP š¤š¤ . . . in preventing, & recovering from Type 2 diabetes, T2D ( - a larger category than T2DM).
For those who feel their sleep is below par too often, these may be of interest: 1) from 2001: https://www.atsjournals.org/doi/full/10.1164/ajrccm.165.5.2103001 2) from 2017: https://erj.ersjournals.com/content/49/4/1700179#ref-14 Can readily believe prolonged poor š¤š¤š¤ quality leads to greater chance

Folic acid fortification in wheat flour - is it here yet?
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone happens to know if the fortification of wheat flour with folic acid has actually been manufactured into the flour yet as per the regulation change in September I think it was. I've been checking labels on my foods waiting for it to show up but it's not yet. Perhaps

What type of b complex works better?
Recently I have noticed b complex get depleted along with B12 injection or talking timed release or infusion forms and it causes to feel cold specially at night. So I started to review b complex brands and their formulation. It's look like there is no any specific combination of b vitamin, some if them

2022 New Year š: The J R Kraft test, & the REAL pathology of Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes ( - of which T2DM is the 'end-stage' of disease !).
"2022" greetings to all readers ! Searching for "Kraft" today on this forum returned only 18 results, & none from the past year or two ! That's a pity, as the fruits of pathologist Dr Joseph R Kraft's research about insulin & associated glucose levels are worth knowing about & understanding in broad

Low B6 vitamin results
My doctor suggested I do a test for levels of all B vitamins. All were normal except B6 which was low. I do not take any PD medication yet. Any thoughts on this?

Christmas carbs
I may be asking the obvious here: I have managed to keep my weight down by eating a lot fewer refined carbs and virtually no refined sugar. But my blood sugar remains high. I have never been overweight. If I eat a few small bits of eg, Christmas pudding, is it likely that my liver will go Whoopee! and

Stem cell-based implants successfully secrete insulin in patients with type 1 diabetes...Big Hope...
Interim results from a multicenter clinical trial demonstrate insulin secretion from engrafted cells in patients with type 1 diabetes. The safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the implants, which consisted of pancreatic endoderm cells derived from human pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), were tested

Why B1 needs magnesium and potassium
Re magnesium and potassium... You need more than 'normal levels'. From Elliot Overton the nutritionist well known from Youtube. "When you take such high doses of B1, it increases enzymatic activity, increasing the requirment for the other enzymatic cofactors including minerals and B vitamins. Magnesium
