Black Coffee and glucose
Came across these lines and want to have opinions from the forum. Black Coffee increases the cortisol levels which in turn signals the liver to release more glucose for the much needed energy. Yes, coffee indeed raises blood glucose.

Not such a good Sunday
Well one always knows with CBD or PSP that things can change overnight. My plans have gone sort of haywire. Nigel seized up this morning and was taken into hospital this morning. He has been admitted for urinary sepsis and vitamin B deficiency so is on IV antibiotics and vit k injections. They reckon

Vitamin B Supplements
I have recently been diagnosed with fatty liver. My blood tests show that my folate is low. My doctor has recommended methylfolate 5000mg with methyl B. Also, methyl folate has been studied for relieving light depression which I somethimes suffer. Will this high dose of B hurt my liver?

One minute all systems working then a semi-collapse and partial recovery in June 2017 and the news of a degenerated cerebellum. Age 73 and a life of sport, one at international level. Hi, I've been struggling with my weight for a while. I have either IBS or bile acid malabsorption which makes dieting a lot harder as I have to be careful what I eat. Here's to getting the ball rolling and feeling like me again.....it's been a while.

Not good
I went for a check up with my doctor and I had a blood test done. When the result had come back, it was not good. They found out my sugar level was to high and that I had to change my diet. I was asked to exercise to avoid being diabetic. So, I have started on a 5k run which I’m enjoying.

Pred: Hunger/appetite change. Early days, do things get better
Pre PMR diagnosis in early July 2018, I was overweight. First time in my life; I've gained just under 28lbs in past two years. Same diet, hugely reduced activity because of pain and mobility restriction. I've never struggled with weight. Used to be fit, happy and active but now having to review wardrobe
