Genetic testing and Second Opinion – A result!
He has also referred me for cabazitaxel but that will depend on whether my liver function

improve. If they don’t, the only thing left on the NHS is carboplatin which apparently doesn’t need good liver functions.

My
blood
tests
have showed my hemaglobin is to low, it had started to pick up but is now 101 should be between 119-160 ( I’m in Australia). My GP says may be internal bleeding, want me to have colonoscopy and endoscopy.

Atorvastatin and liver function
Blood
tests
for liver function 3 weeks ago showed slightly elevated ALT and high GGT levels. My previous GGT test was about 20 months ago and the level then was normal. Liver
blood
tests
were repeated yesterday and my ALT level has doubled to 152 and GGT increased by 50% to 245.

Basal thermometer for DATs
As an adjunct to
blood
tests
. I'm interested in using a thermometer with an app to track the changes. I don't know anything about the best or right type of thermometer, or if that matters. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Myelofibrosis - GVHD - graft, versus, host, disease
On my next consultation with the haemotologist and further
blood
tests
, I was told that I had Myelofibrosis, a rare form of bone marrow cancer. He said it was terminal but treatable. My lights were knocked in of course, I wasn't expecting anything of the sort.

Blood Test Advice Please
Hello All Having recently started on a trial for T3 (as well as my normal T4 dose) I am due some
blood
tests
next Monday. Do I have to stop ALL B supplements from today or just B6? I have a simple Folate/B12 supplement which I can use instead of my normal B Complex.

How painful can PMR get ?
He has asked me to go for
blood
tests
& if inflammation levels high , he’ll put me back on prednisolone. Rheumatologist is phoning me In 2 weeks , and she said she might investigate further. But I feel so unwell ! Is this normal with PMR ?

Antidepressant
I have had all kinds of
blood
tests
but all came back fine. I am going on holiday Monday and am dreading it. Feel so scared. Don’t know if it’s the tablet or just the way I am. What should I do? I don’t think the doctors know what to do anymore.

PMR symptoms trumps all other indicators
With regular monitoring, especially my diabetes type 2 and BP and regular
blood
tests
etc. I was delighted with the wording on my prednisolone prescription and it being on repeat ordering.
