Prednisone and Intralipids
NKC: slightly raised NKCs in biopsy and
blood
tests
. Consultant wants to prescribe Prednisone 20mg and intralipids for this next time. For anyone else who has had Prednisone for implantation failure: 1) Did it work for you? 2) What was your dose? 3) Did it cause weight gain?

SWOLLEN ANKLES WITH LUNG CONDITION
I was in for a few days, they did a chest x-ray, lots of different
blood
tests
, an ECG which they said was normal. However they found my lungs were hyperinflated and also I had fluid on my lungs. They gave me Furosemide intravenously which made me feel much better.

Elevated TSH
My recent
blood
tests
read: TSH 36.7 , freeT3 3.3 and T4 13.7. I was alarmed when I saw my TSH. My GP would recommend increasing the T4 , but it seems ok to me. And when it goes up anywhere past 15, I start to get horrible symptoms. E.G. fast heartrate.

GP Visit and HRT worries 😰
My GP also got more
blood
tests
done and this time it was not a surprise so I didn’t take my T3 before the test (skipped 2 doses) and my T3 levels were within the range as I told her it’ll be, so she was much happier about that. 2. As suspected,
blood
tests
confirmed that I was menopausal.

Medical Paper please – low TSH on T3 only
Fortunately since lock down and until recently I have not been called in for
blood
tests
. I had to go in for an appointment on 12 February. I saw a locum endo who was very vexed by my longterm very low TSH. He admitted that he had never before come across a patient taking only T3.

Has anyone here discovered they have endometriosis/and or adenomyosis at a later stage in life? Just found out at 50!
That’s 20+ years of endless gastro tests for my ongoing digestive issues (I’ve had 2 colonoscopies, 2 gastroscopes,
blood
tests
, fit tests, a scan for bile acid malabsorption).

road to diagnosis
I was told that erythromelalgia often co occurs with other autoimmune conditions so further
blood
tests
were done to rule this out/confirm.

High TSH, increasing TPO antibodies, latest results!
I'll be a pin cushion by the time I'm done doing these home
blood
tests
..... So I decided to do the full health plus tpo from Monitor My Health (who currently have 20% off all their tests, annoyingly!) on Monday, results came back early this morning.

Advice on taking T3 for first time also best pharmacy to use Private prescription please
My last
blood
tests
were last done by NHS on 15th Feb and privately on 17th Jan. The reading on 15th Feb seems to be a bit of a blip because my T4 is normally 17 or 18. I think I had been ill just before.

Blood tests and medicals for life insurance
When I see all those adverts for health and life insurance I'm curious as to what
blood
tests
or medicals would be required by certain insurance companies. Whet exactly would they likely test for?

Bad batch of B12
When I didn't improve I went to the GP and
blood
tests
didn't show up any problems (lots of tests - including folate, magnesium, ferritin, thyroid). It was getting clearer that my symptoms were very similar to when diagnosed and I couldn't understand what would cause their return.

Anemia After Annunoplasty
My
blood
tests
have showed my hemaglobin is to low, it had started to pick up but is now 101 should be between 119-160 ( I’m in Australia). My GP says may be internal bleeding, want me to have colonoscopy and endoscopy.
