Hair Loss on Yuflyma
I have managed to get the GP to email the Hospital to ask to speak with the consultant ( a week and half after I saw the GP) and I have had
blood
tests
done. My Iron is low and vitamin D. Thyroid appears ok.

Anyone had 2 blood tests with different labs to compare results?
Has anyone ever been unsure of their results and taken two tests around the same time eg. NHS and a private company ie. Blue Horizon to compare their results to see if there is much in the way of a difference in levels for accuracy purposes? The reason I ask is via my GP/NHS it's never guaranteed that

Now I have something else to deal with
We would usually monitor liver function tests when taking these" The liver bit worries me as when I used to see an FD a few years back she said from certain testing that my liver could be working better even though on GP NHS
blood
tests
it showed OK.

Out of range low T4 but normal TSH and T3
My son is now 4 months and I have been undergoing multiple
blood
tests
to establish what the course of action should now be. My TSH and T3 are within range but my T4 is very low. I will attach results and my ranges to this message.

Introduced T3, feeling exhausted & gaining weight
Last
blood
tests
were taken May 15th - levo 24hrs before, 1/2 dose T3 4 hrs before (compromise suggested on here). I sought advice here then and was advised endo's prescription seemed fine.

Low iron
Is the iron level like the B12 level in
blood
tests
, unreliable as an indicator of health? And is the bottom end of the range far too low for optimal wellness?

IBS attack after antibiotics
To cut the story short, urine, stool and
blood
tests
all negative. Still got loose stools, but only in the morning (proper smelly one) along with some tummy ache and mild bloating. Does this sound like a typical reaction to antibiotics or something that needs more attention? Cheers!

Hello, new member
My GP ran
blood
tests
and found I was very anaemic. Over the last 2 years I have had tests repeated over and over - all negative so the conclusion is that the anaemia is not related to a GI bleed. The only treatment I have really responded to is packed red blood cells transfusion.

Expected new diagnosis of Myositis and my concerns
Doc and his partners discussed my case and are convinced it is Myositis after numerous
blood
tests
etc... and I now have a referral date at the hospital for 25/9/24.

I’m just scared of this
blood
tests
and the results. I’m praying it’s negative and I can just relax and wait for my monthly and if it doesn’t show at least I’ll know I’m not for sure and just go on about my life.

RA - flu like symptoms for weeks
My rheumatologist said my
blood
tests
were all fine. Is it normal to fell ill the whole time with RA? Could it be the meds that are making me feel flu like? Or maybe they arent working and I need to switch to different medication?

Barretts oesophagus
All
blood
tests
and tumour markers came back as normal, but I cannot help but worry about if it is Barretts and whether again it could be cancer.

Finally got Ruxolinitib
Today I picked up my first ruxolinitib tablets, to start on Monday, after the last
blood
tests
are back from the lab. This has been a marathon of nearly a years effort, to get access to Rux. I will start 20 Mg twice a day and 1 x 300 mg of Allopurinol.

Large lesion on liver - 10cm x 5cm
I had
blood
tests
done towards the end of last year due to on going acid reflux symptoms. In the last 6 months I have been on the cancer pathway for investigations for throat and stomach, all biopsies came back clear thank god.

How to wean off omeprazole
I’ve just had some
blood
tests
done prior to some surgery and the results show there may be a problem with vitamin B12 levels. Hmm, I take 20mg omeprazole daily, in capsule form. Anyone any idea of the best way to come off this? I believe I’ll have to gradually wean off it?

Thyroid results-Hashimotos?
GP dismissed thyroid and their
blood
tests
never showed anything. Had celiac test which was negative. Been supplementing iron/b12 over six months to see if improved anything but hasn't impacted results. I didn't take them for a week prior to testing latest bloods. Does this look like Hashimotos?

Negligence follows you eveeywhere
The GPS own the practice, I have now had to spend £500 on private consultation and 2 specialist
blood
tests
bnp and troponin. I don't understand why I am treated this way and I am starting to believe it is intentional.
