Not GCA
They kept me at 40mgs over the weekend, and then to wait for
blood
tests
scheduled for today. The specialist nurse rang this afternoon to say my bloods were really good, and as I had not had immediate relief from the preds, I have not got GCA.

I was treated for other things and no specific
blood
tests
were ever done. Things got so bad I recently started the whole process of getting investigated and a neurologist referred me to a haematologist. At last, I’m JAK2 + and high HB and Haemacrit .

GCA LVV Methotrexate Part 3
tests
were consistently good.As my bloods are good I asked if this could be the basis to reduce MTX but he answered no.This was the interesting point to me,he said the bloods do not tell him anything about my condition but do alert him if MTX is effecting any organs. The way to know for sure would be

Well at least that’s one less thing to worry about.
So the relief of the bone scan is sadly diminished by the worry about a possible pituitary adénoma and I am now on the next fairground ride with
blood
tests
and a further MRI to get to the bottom of that.

unusual test results
I have been on 75 mcg levothyroxine for a number of years but my latest
blood
tests
show tsh 4.6 and T4 19. This has been repeated 3 times now just to be sure and the results are the same. I always take the thyroxine at least an hour before breakfast.

Fasting bloods help
My issue is my
blood
pressure tends to drop during
blood
tests
and I feel and can faint. If I take my levo after my test, I still can't eat until 12.30 or more depending on when the test is done and. I dont think I'm going to be OK until then. What do I do in this situation?

Thyroid-S
My last
blood
tests
showed my T3 was just out of the ratio level. (Low side). I know many t3/t4 ndt(natural designated thyroid) Thyroid supplier's have changed their ingredients and levels - with astorshinate price rises. But apparently Thyroid-S was one of the cheapest?

Endo no longer wants to see me.
My recent
blood

show my tsh is 0.54 (0.35 - 4.94 ulU/ml) and my t4 is 14.5 (9.0 - 19.0 pmol/ml). I am on 75 mcg euthyrox. I had a scan on Friday and now have residual thyroid tissue on both the left and right side, 6 months ago I only had thyroid tissue on the left side.

Ducks in a row
I'd like to have my doctor on board but so far he's having none of it as he says recent
blood
tests
show (and they do) high B12 and no parietal antibodies (I think-at this stage I'm a bit out of my depth) and now he's questioning if I have PA at all.
