Looking for some help in interpreting thyroid results. I've been testing privately over the last two years. Does this show Hashimotos and would it be enough for a GP to take seriously?
Since having my son three years ago I've had many unexplained symptoms - weight gain, swollen legs, fatigue, hair thinning, heavy periods, numb toes. GP dismissed thyroid and their blood tests never showed anything. Had celiac test which was negative.
Been supplementing iron/b12 over six months to see if improved anything but hasn't impacted results. I didn't take them for a week prior to testing latest bloods.
Does this look like Hashimotos? Is there anything I can do to improve or manage? Not feeling confident on GP advice based on previous conversations about symptoms.
TIA.

Many people have positive antibodies for Hashimotos but do not require medication for hypothyroidism. It’s important to have optimal levels of key thyroid vitamins- folate, ferritin, B12 & vit D to support your thyroid health. Can you share levels with us?
Many members are not coeliac but (like myself) have hugely benefited from adopting a GF diet. I would certainly recommend fully elimimygluten for 3 months and see if this helps alleviate any adverse symptoms.
Will your doctor take it seriously? No. He probably has no idea what the antibodies mean and will only look at your TSH.
Are you hypo? Not really. Yet. Although your Frees are a little low. And your symptoms do sound like hypo symptoms. And symptoms often preceed anomalies in blood tests. But, none of that would interest your doctor because your TSH is indisputable euthyroid. And that's all they know.
Will it develop into full-blown hypothyroidism? Who knows. Nor do they know how long it would take to do that. It's all unpredictable.

Are you taking vit C with your iron to assist absorption?
Are you taking a b complex with your B12? All the Bs work together and need to be kept balanced. You need one with methylcobalamin and methylfolate, such as Thorne Basic B.
Iron- I was recommended to supplement by GP due to very heavy periods (low ferritin at 25 but average overall iron) have brought this up to 70+ ferritin now.
B12-yes part of B complex vitamin
Will look into Vit C, also been raising vit D levels with daily supplement.
I have just found out I am gluten intolerant so will definitely be making that change.
Should I technically be eligible for treatment if a GP 'got it' or really is it all just a case of lifestyle changes and monitoring? Just trying to understand whether worth pushing GP.
Hi There, back in March this forum was kind enough to help me with some thyroid results I had. I've done a re-test 7 months later and numbers seem to be moving in the wrong direction. Can anyone advise what next steps might be? Is this definitively Hashimotos?
Antibodies getting higher, as is TSH-are these significant? GP totally uninterested - I am fortunate to have Bupa cover, should I just go straight to an Endo for a definitive answer?
I have been gluten free from 3 months but still see weight gain, tiredness, general well being not improving so feel I need some clarity/plan of action.
