Blood tests

Blood tests clear on the day of appointment but a month later biopsy showed moderately hypOcellular (not hypERcellular) red cells.

I was feeling positive and after initial blood tests have been taken, his cardiologist feels that with an increase in dosage, this can be even further improved. It all seems vey scary now and he has been very quiet and reluctant to talk about it.

I am aged 60 I have regular 3 monthly blood tests due to heart meds. Each time my kidney function reduces - yet GP has not sent me for a scan or called it Kidney disease. My eGFR was 67, three months later 55 and now below 50, so they are just doing another blood test in two weeks.

My GP said that I had a b12 deficiency (she didn't measure my b12), so I went to the haematologist and have just gotten these blood tests, I have an appointment in 10 days. This does not look like a b12 deficiency to me... or I'm missing something?

Hi everyone I have been taking firmagon adt treatment for 6 years for stage 4 cancer last 2 blood tests have one a month showed increase in testosterone 0.76 in December then January test 1.76 this last test also showed a rise in psa has anyone had this problem I'm getting the shot regularly

Feeling very happy, all blood tests from Wednesday came back excellent. Well within range in all areas. 🙂🙂🍰🍷🎵

I know if someone is on statins it has to be avoided I know to avoid Biotin before blood tests but is Nicotimamide ok?

I never notice that much difference between shots, but my blood tests confirm my shots have been getting into my cells, though I stopped checking and have actually increased my frequency anyway. Any opinion on the potency of Pan pharma 5 months past expiration.

When it was first checked with blood tests my infection markers were slightly raised. Am in so much widespread pain, stiffness. Currently only taking paracetamol for the pain, which at times isn't enough. Why am I in this much pain.

Because of neuropathy I self inject B12 every other day and have done ever since diagnosis of hypothyroidism over a year ago, whatever blood tests I have had. Should I be desisting please before I take this, my first private test? I know about vit D and biotin but this is new to me!

I haven’t been actually actively trying as had another medical thing I needed to sort first but continued to take supplements for a year so my body was ready for when I was going to try which was this month but after having these blood tests, I’m so confused and no idea what it all means.

Ive had blood tests, cameras up my nose. So now im back on here wondering again. Hearing aids in as we speak in order to have a night off. Dentist tomorrow. Spent a fortune. I think it all starts in the kidneys - and im going back next week for Lythotripsy to shatter the buggers,.

Was a bit concerned about possibility of blood clots. After 2 blood tests as tropin was a bit raised (16/17) ended up having a chest x Ray and c.t. Scan. Thankfully no sign of clots or heart attack. Doc now taken me off amlodipine and put me back on 30mg of isosorbide tablets .

I’m just going to get the blood tests done today. Questions I have are: could the injury be the trigger? how does RA effect general day to day life for people? what would I need to consider moving forward if it is diagnosed?

Hi everyone i had some blood tests done just routine but they called me in for an appointment, they said my blood tests were abnormal and that it wasn’t urgent.

This winter has been horrible and has really got me down, but these blood tests dont show anything that the GP will action. I would value any thoughts-thank you.

Doc and his partners discussed my case and are convinced it is Myositis after numerous blood tests etc... and I now have a referral date at the hospital for 25/9/24.

I got blood tests last Sept and my TSH was 0.97 (0.35-5.00) and free t4 was 12.3 pmol/l (9.0-21.0) I have recently been feeling a lot worse and it was tested last week and TSH is 0.87 and free t4 10.3 pmol/l within the same ranges.

I had lots of other blood tests that I’ve uploaded the results in a previous thread. Not sure how I upload that here. my vitamin d is low, folic acid is low and my cortisol is through the roof.
