Request for advice looking for possible new diagnosis
and hoping that the GP agrees to start afresh, has anyone any advice on notes I should take with me when I can get in, questions I should ask, and
tests
I should definitely hope are included in any
blood
tests
? Thanks for reading if you got this far!

Links between vaping and B12 deficiency?
Hopefully they will make an appointment to see their GP but wonder if I should also suggest they get some
blood
tests
too... Also stumbled across B12 available in vape form - the consensus seems to be don't try this at home!

Stomach cancer
Blood
tests

Possible Hypothyroidism - urgent referral for tonsil cancer 🤷♀️
Anyway went to Drs for problems with my hands (it’s an age thing 🤦♀️)
blood
tests
showed thyroid level 6.6 but hormone levels ok. I asked is this why I’ve been feeling so tired all the time? No you won’t have symptoms as hormone levels are ok.

worried about my heart
He said i can have
blood
tests
and ECG on 28th December. He also said i could buy a monitor to check my heart at home. I drink and smoke a lot, and have other illnesses which mean i cant exercise. Just my daily tasks are my exercise. Any thoughts or advice would be very welcomed.

PMR or not?
He took
blood
tests
all of which came back great apart from ESR and CRP. They were 53 and 44. Doc said he would take more bloods in 28 days. By the 28 days still stiffness and aches but bloods were going down, 44 and 33. He had spoken to Rheumi specialist who said put her on PRED for PMR.

newly diagnosed with copd
GP did chest X-ray,
blood
tests
& ECG, all was ok. Fast forward to November I was having a review of my BP MEDS as my BP was slightly too low & I was getting swollen ankles. This GP suggested I have a Spirometry as mentioned the ongoing breathlessness.

New to world of IBS - How do you balance your diet and still enjoy life?
I first pointed the finger at gluten sometime in 2023 and my GP ruled out coeliac disease and other nasties based on
blood
tests
and not the use of intrusive cameras. Personally I keep an open mind but I believe my IBS is "real" and not other potential problems.

Hi, I recently had a fall and as a result I went to hospital where
blood
tests
, X-rays and scan were done. I had 2 broken ribs. But the
blood
test results came directly to my phone. One of the
tests
were ‘out of range’ the mmol/l cholesterol result was 0.8.

Thyroid-S
My last
blood
tests
showed my T3 was just out of the ratio level. (Low side). I know many t3/t4 ndt(natural designated thyroid) Thyroid supplier's have changed their ingredients and levels - with astorshinate price rises. But apparently Thyroid-S was one of the cheapest?

Has anyone had a Jak2 Blood Test for blood disorders?
Recently I have been seen in Endocrinology (in a different hospital to my rheumatology team) & been having regular
blood
tests
since starting T3 for Thyroid issues. My endocrine Nurse picked this up & has mentioned it to the Haematologist who has asked my GP to do the above Jak 2 blood test.

after a stent…
I was released after 24 hours monitoring including the usual repeated
blood
tests
and spaced ECG’s . The head of cardiology briefed me himself and explained it all in detail. I have been back home for several days and feel good. The moral of the story being if you get side effects don’t worry.

Well at least that’s one less thing to worry about.
So the relief of the bone scan is sadly diminished by the worry about a possible pituitary adénoma and I am now on the next fairground ride with
blood
tests
and a further MRI to get to the bottom of that.
