for about a month I’ve had what I believe to be a UTI. Frequency, urgency, pain. Up until now, I’ve been treated as if I have a UTI but the anti biotics haven’t quite shifted it. I do my own dipstick tests and mostly It shows leukocytes but at the doctors it says clear but signs of blood which they’re concerned about. I was convinced I would be put on the second line of treatment today but instead they want me to have blood tests to check my kidneys and do not think it’s a UTI as it tested clear for leukocytes and nitrates. Any idea what could be going on? What could the blood test show?

Could be leaking Protien from your Kidneys...Thats how my Kidney Disease was found...The blood test will show your kidney function

Perhaps you have interstitial cystitis and not a bladder infection. You may need cystoscopy.

I keep thinking this too. Have you got any experience of this?

Not personally. I am a physician so I sometimes propose diagnoses and give advice.
