procedures after an echocardiogram
A couple of ecgs and
blood
tests
later I was told they looked fine and all ok but was sent for an echocardiogram, I have since had a letter to visit the cardiologist at the end of November. Is this a normal thing or is it something to be concerned about.

she recommended! Can anyone PM me and recommend a knowledgeable Endo who prescribes T3? I live in Lancashire. Thank you very much.

Coming to terms
Because of my anxiety and depression I also find it difficult to make sure I attend and make appointments for
blood
tests
. Over the years I have had to change my medication because of failing to take them. Has anyone else had this issue with coming to terms with it?

PMR or not?
He took
blood
tests
all of which came back great apart from ESR and CRP. They were 53 and 44. Doc said he would take more bloods in 28 days. By the 28 days still stiffness and aches but bloods were going down, 44 and 33. He had spoken to Rheumi specialist who said put her on PRED for PMR.

Awaiting phone call from GP
I am on 6 monthly reviews with the consultant,
blood
tests
and ultrasound scan. The ultra sound scans appear to show no portal hypertension/variaces which is good.

Clean endoscopy and colonoscopy but persistent gastric pain
I passed abdominal CT scan , ultrasound (all digestive organs ), female reproductive system, endoscopy and colonoscopy , relevant
blood
tests
. All clean , all good. Had my heart checked out as well to rule out cardic problems. But this pain persists. Doctor does not know what it could be.

Pre-diagnosis, any words of wisdom
GP is sending for
blood
tests
and in a panic I've also booked an appointment privately. My mum has RA (though has been in remission best part of 20 years which seems pretty amazing from my googling). Pretty convinced I have it too.

worried about my heart
He said i can have
blood
tests
and ECG on 28th December. He also said i could buy a monitor to check my heart at home. I drink and smoke a lot, and have other illnesses which mean i cant exercise. Just my daily tasks are my exercise. Any thoughts or advice would be very welcomed.

Magnesium Supplements to reduce frequency of migraines
I’ve had
blood
tests
before and haven’t been told that I have this deficiency, but I thought maybe I could try magnesium supplements and see if this helps me (especially since I’m in a high stress environment that I cannot avoid at this moment in time - exams).

Stomach cancer
Blood
tests
revealed very low in haemoglobin and iron. She was given 2 infusion for blood and one for iron. She then went for endoscopy app. The girl who did the endoscopy was suspicious of malignancy in stomach. She noticed bleeding in stomach as well.

Endo finally tested FT3! Thoughts?
At my last endo appt early Dec, the consultant kept his same stance that my
blood
tests
were all in range and my symptoms were all due to perimenopause.

Made it home ok thanks all. Another day another saga.
However I need
blood
tests
& X Ray first & they were now closed. I told her I would finish my Doxycycline tomorrow & so She sent a prescription for Amoxicillin to Boots electronically. Hubby went to Boots but no prescription so had to go back to the surgery as you can’t call our surgery.

Update on unexplained headaches
Upshot was that my blood pressure was very high (not unsurprising) which is unusual so they took
blood
tests
, gave me a pill for the
blood
pressure and was put on a pain killing drip even although the pain was minimal at that time.

More new blood tests - sorry!
Sorry, I really should have waited another day for yesterdays update but I wasn’t due to have blood taken again until next Friday, but it got moved to yesterday afternoon! And results are back in already on my app which is impressive! So it’s looking like my numbers (well T3 and T4) are all nicely back

refusing treatment how fast do people decline?
He is decided not to go for
blood
tests
that regulate his liver medications, he has decided not to interact with the GP and let himself decline. He has become more tired, his speech slower, clearly signs that the HE is getting worse.
