Annual review and fibro diagnosis
The rheumatologist examined me and looked at my latest
blood
tests
. CRP was below 1. I've no swelling or heat in my joints so he said no signs of active disease. He could hear my knee joints when moving them.

Inflamed liver
I've had various
blood
tests
, that show liver is mayby struggling & inflamed. Also at times, my skin & eyes are showing a tad yellow. I have an appointment coming up with a Liver specialist, so I guess I will wait & see.

advice again sorry
ok so I’ve had my
blood
tests
back today and after thinking that they would definitely be upped from the 50 start dose they said that I was normal but I’m still suffering from a tingling finger on my right hand and joint pain, I’m tired than ever and I’m fatter than ever.

Treatment changes - Rituximab?
He has suggested I give Rituximab a try and sent me off for a chest X-Ray and
blood
tests
to check if I'm OK to have it. Also, interestingly, they've booked me an appointment at an iritis clinic.

PMR, blood tests, when to seek a rheumatologist, TMJ
Apologies for the long preamble but I wanted to know if I should have had any more
blood
tests
since diagnosis early Feb ? My surgery says not. Also , is there a link between PMR and TMJ (I’m having a very mild episode of jaw pain eg when eating apple and slight bruising)?

Post heart attack
He had recent
blood
tests
as he is on 85mg statins , so he has annual checks but results came back with kidney disease, very concerning although GP has said that on a scale of 1 - 10 his kidneys were working at 7 which isn’t concerning, again we’re not sure .

Understanding Thyroid Test Results
I have had hypothyroidism for 17 years now and had yearly
blood
tests
. I must admit I have never understood what the result has meant other than the GP saying it's satisfactory. My recent test was Serum TSH level 2.14 mu/1.

INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITY - for adults with a cirrhosis diagnosis (UK)
The OPAL study will collect data from routine hospital visits, medical records, and
blood
tests
. This data will help doctors and scientists understand how to better care for people with advanced cirrhosis. The research may also lead to new medicines and treatments being developed.

anyone with AIT and Lichen Sclerosis?
I will suggest she gets
blood
tests
for AIT and vitamins too. Does following an auto immune diet help anyone? Dairy? Gluten? Vitamin D? I must have asked her to test her vitamin D about a hundred times but she doesn’t get around to it. Just hoping to make her more comfortable thanks 🌱

New blood results - Need advice
These
blood
tests
were after 16 weeks on 150. I took two weeks off of 225mcg then started 150. I feel awful. Terrible fatigue and brain fog. Was told I possibly had a thyroid storm. My FT3 has never been this high ever. It’s almost over the range. Plus, I didn’t take my pill before.

Recurring symptoms, bit panicky
Then the rheumy wants the
blood
tests
results from tomorrow as quick as possible. So things are happening. But I was hoping to be told to increase to 60mg - I'd have felt safer. Trouble is, I've worked myself up into such a state I'm actually shaking and can't calm down.

Unexplained bruising?
Hello, I’ve had strange unexplained bruising all over my legs so got a variety of
blood
tests
through my docs. Only thing that has come back is what I believe to be under active thyroid. Is unexplained bruising a common symptom? I should add that in 6 months post partum.

PET scan results and thoughts please :-)
I’ve booked
blood
tests
at the GP and will wait for the results before tapering. I’m in my fifth week of 5mg and feel good. I’m attending a physio group twice a week at Nuffield which I think is really paying off.

my creatinine will be more and more up and I can't handle it all.I'm so scared it's progressing fast.I always shudder at illnesses and now something so serious is happening to me,it's a nightmare.I thought I was doing fine
