TSH, blood tests, weight gain - I am in the dark
Are there other specific
blood
tests
I should be asking for? Is 75 micrograms an average dose? Thanks in advance.

Blood tests - how much difference does timing make?
I posted last week about my symptoms and recent blood results but I had them done before reading here so I did them mid morning and had breakfast and coffee beforehand! My question is, how much difference might this have made? I’ve now been told by another nhs professional that my results are normal

Should blood tests be more frequent?
I keep reading about the importance of a correct blood sugar level! However, I’m under the impression that I’ll only be getting tested once a year from now on! Surely, a lot of damage can be done in the year between tests. Thinking of going down the road of testing sugar levels at home! Has anyone else

Advice on latest blood tests
Hi all, Hoping to get some advice on bloods following my latest tests. Just wondered if it's worth increasing the T4 as it's a bit lower since putting on a little bit of weight. I'm happy with my Vit D, B12, Folate and Iron and hence have not included those results. Thanks in advance

How to tell if Rituximab is working?
Are you able to tell if Rituximab is working from changes that show in your
blood
tests
? What specifically would improve or should everything improve?

Early morning blood tests
I see on other posts that an early morning blood test before 09:00hrs is suggested for an accurate reading. I went to have bloods taken yesterday morning at 08:55hrs for ferritin. My phlebotomist found that my blood flow was a bit on the slow side... but ok for the lab test. She thought she might have

Quick question about blood tests
Blood
tests
this week (Sed rate and C-reactive) came back normal. Is that odd? I have a first appointment with rheumatologist on Monday next week. Thanks for advice.

blood test accuracy
Hi All, I order
blood
tests
through Medichecks and have a
blood
draw at the hospital but also intermittently get
blood
tests
through the NHS. According to the NHS my vitamin levels have gone down considerably but according to Medichecks they’re fine! Which one should I trust?! Thanks 😊

I have purchased some of the things recommended but feel that the best way forward now is
blood
tests
and take it from there.

Blood tests to track MS progression
I have heard about a specific blood test, in US, that allows doctors to measure key biomarkers and evaluate a person's response to particular therapies targeting MS. This is the Octave MS Disease Activity (MSDA) blood test that analyzes levels of 18 key biomarkers that help doctors measure the level

Thyroid private blood tests - new company
Hi - A couple weeks ago someone posted a new company offering thyroid
tests
that have
blood
drawing clinics in London and is very reasonably priced. I have just had an unfortunate experience with Medichecks as the clinic I chose in London had no appointments for over a month.
