Hi All,
I order blood tests through Medichecks and have a blood draw at the hospital but also intermittently get blood tests through the NHS.
According to the NHS my vitamin levels have gone down considerably but according to Medichecks they’re fine! Which one should I trust?!
Thanks 😊

helvella Administrator Thyroid UK 5 months ago A good question.
I suggest you collect your information together and email to ask Medichecks.
They might have some degree of explanation. Or not.
I assume that you have taken the usual precautions of stopping biotin (if you take it), etc?

Check the ranges too
Different labs….different range

I’ve found the same with medichecks even when accounting for differences in lab ranges for both thyroid and vitamin.
I tend to go with the NHS ones simply on the basis that I was using my NHS results to guide treatment in the first place.
